A lot of work and expense when producing thousands.

Ok so they put lights in the dead space statue and various other statues that could have done without is and were I fact cheaper to buy.
Also the picture is miss leading as he has a slight twinkle in the red eye.
Or they could have done the exclusive with the light up eye instead of the thumbs up hand.

I agree with you mate, Would of been a nice addition. The powers that be have decided not to add one :dunno I'd be very surprised if they add it now.
I do worry about light up features failing though.

Yeah that is a good point as if it is broken then it will loose
Value I suppose , would be nice thought:pray:

Ordered it anyways:clap

I suppose if people weren't whining for a light up feature they would be whining about something else. Like being overly critical about his pores, pose, or how his gun wont shoot bb's. Will there ever come a day when a statue comes out and receives zero criticism?? I kind of feel sorry for the artists that do these awesome works of art just to have some dorks pick it apart just for the sake of picking it apart.

Missing the light up eye has nothing to do with nitpicking, everyone assumes it would light up but it's missing most likely due to cutting cost... Also if the artist wanted it to have a light up eye but the company decides not to, I'm sure even the artist would be disappointed and wants to fight for it.

I'm disconnected because I don't want to "play" with my statue? It's not a toy. It doesn't need a light up feature. If you buy a poster or painting of the Terminator are you going to drill a hole behind the eye and put a red Christmas light behind it? Statues don't need bells and whistles. They are made to be displayed and looked at...not played with.

PFs are not your typical statues. They are mixed media format which pretty much by definition have bells and whistles added to it, usually fabric, metal parts, and sometimes light up features. You don't play with lights, you display them with the lights on. I don't see how lights would make it a toy, if the movie studio used lights in the real thing then how does the light make this statue a toy? What's the difference between the actual movie prop endoskeleton that lights up compared to a statue endoskeleton that also lights up?

Great idea on the poster :yess:

Anyway...old news, nothing to see here.
Today is RS day :yess:

To people who don't want it - For the sake of those who do - Please vote 'YES', and just don't use it :)

( Not that it's going to matter, SS will not listen anyway.. ).

Wait so does this light up?

No way is Sideshow adding the light up feature now. They didn't include a light up eye on the Terminator PF and I can't see why this'll be an exception. What they can do is add a light-up feature for the thumb accessory a la Jessica Rabbit.
