:lol
Yea that would be pretty neat

:lol I wasn't even thinking about shipping. I'm just thinking about the damn tails.

i think the trex vs triceratops is a bit over priced,i've pre ordered the trex maquette just hope the paint apps are as good as the prototype,i cringe everytime i see how the jp dio turned out, which other dinosaurs do u see them doing?

See my JP dio I got repainted in the picture post. ;) Have to pimp my JP dio, it's the pride and joy of my collection now that it's been repainted. A truly breathtaking sculpt, but instead of a sterling paint job we all got tickets aboard the failboat. :monkey5 From what I've been hearing, SS is well aware of that ^^^^^ up and is going to be taking measures to correct that with Dinosauria and see that we aren't disappointed again (the paint on the JP dio was the ONLY time I was disappointed with paint apps from SS and hopefully it shall be the last time if they follow through on their word); they repeatedly emphasize the coloration and paint in every video and interview discussing the line. If you have the coin, get the JP dio and get a repaint. You won't regret it for an instant. Dave Stann did mine.

As to the piece that's most worth the money... well, the dio has two dinosaurs in it and in an extremely dynamic way that I feel captures the spirit of the conflict superbly. The T.rex and Carno, for reasons I've said time and again, are both spectacular. If you have to choose, I would just go with the dinosaur(s) you personally find the most fascinating. Nothing off about the face on the T.rex except that it's rendered CORRECTLY, and riddled with "war wounds". Look at the 360 on SS's site. If that doesn't convince you of its beauty, then nothing I say could. :lol

Stegosaurus is definitely on its way. No doubt about it. It's too iconic not to be made eventually, and I bet SS will do a superb job; very stoked to see what they do with the color scheme, particularly on the plates. My preference would be an Allosaurus VS. Stegosaurus diorama.

t-rexxxxxxxxxxxx all the freakin way,btw i got mine for 245 USD shipped to india-think thats a good deal??

i dunno, the t-ex some how just doesn't have enough of that wow factor going, theres sumthin a lil off about it's face...

:horse:lol I don't know why you're still having a dilemma then. If the T.rex doesn't do it for you, there shouldn't be an issue. Personally I find it to be one of, if not the single best paleo piece I've ever seen when depicting the animal realistically. But if it's not for you, go for the Carno. It's too steep a price tag to be on the fence still when you have the piece in hand. Makes more sense with the ES being so limited that people who are crazy about it should have it. :D The Carno is awesome, though. A truly exceptional piece based on the proto. I don't imagine you'll be disappointed.

as i said earlier,i didn't really dig the t-rex at first, but its grown on me n how,im sold, already pre ordered it,can't wait to have it in my hands,it truly is a piece of work

Also, bad news for those of us hoping for more JP collectibles soon, but GREAT news concerning the care put into Dinosauria collectibles. This was from Sideshow's Q&A.

"Sorry to say that we’re not currently planning any 12-inch figures from Jurassic Park. We love the movie, but most of all, we love the dinosaurs. Sideshow’s Dinosauria line has been our focus, and our design and development teams have been putting heart and soul into the products!"

"Heart and soul" they say. Happy to hear it. :chew

They might do some piece or other. Their T-Rex is cool, but having a JP Rex would be great for fans. But I'm a bit doubtful they'll do other pieces from JP.

yeah true,u think its gonna be a pretty big line though?do u feel it has potential to do well and appeal to a lotta ppl,i mean sure they are dino's but they aint from any movie, personally i feel they are fantastic...

Doubtless. It doesn't do academia any credit to think the only topics anyone expresses any interest concerning revolves around feature films. ;) :lol Paleo collectors like myself, and just those who find dinos kind of cool and these designs compelling are going to flock to the line. The very fact that we have topics such as this is testament to that.
