I concur, HLJ has always been a class act and they are widely acknowledged as one of the best places to get Japanese market items (as well as other stuff) sent to the States. They have come a long way from their humble beginnings.

Their packaging and service are outstanding and you can usually find deals that are as good or better than many "local" mail order sites even with shiping included. No need to be concerned at all regarding orders from HLJ.

As for the Saturn V, I wonder if HLJ's stock is the "first batch" that includes the post-splashdown CM piece.

**edit** nevermind...

Instead of wondering, you could actually look at the link I posted. All the information you need to know about what does and doesn't come with this kit is laid out in plain English.

Talk about leading a horse to water :cuckoo:

Hey, Turbo, I've been shopping at HLJ for years.

Don't pat yourself on the back too hard.

And in all that time you never learned how to read or look at pictures? Damn...

I have zero interest in this product, but posted the link to help out a fellow collector - who, by the way, couldn't be bothered to read it properly either. What is it with this thread? Feel free to bump a witty retort back my way, but I'm heading over to the 1/6 threads to hang with my own kind :wave

Lejuan:....Chill they are just toys.....

swo77: Not to mention the fact that there have been many items that I was on the fence with until they went on sale. I picked up just about the entire run of CMs Patlabor toys from hlj for 50% off....

Just an FYI, I've been replying to this thread from cell phone. I didnt feel like reading through an entire page that big on a 2" x 2" screen. Its not that I was lazy..its that I didnt want to go cross-eyed trying to read it all.

Roger.that.

So no one has gotten this or has any in hand pics? :dunno

Had it since December and it is easily the best representation of the orbiter/full stack in any scale or medium. This includes the scale models available in 1/200, 1/144, 1/100 and 1/72. It has some odd LE panel line scribing on the wings and some have reported an unsightly seam along the wing LEX on their examples, but outside of that, it is an extremely impressive piece. Sitting on the stand with LED's, it looks like a night shot on the pad.

HLJ still has them.

Check this link for more.
