Thanks to Flosi( and pixeltwin to an extent) I didn't have to buy the lighting "gels" for Threepio's eyes. So thanks guys!

Now I do have a sliver of it left if anyone wants it.You won't be able to double it up like Flosi and I did but it's available for anyone that wants it.

Its die-cast, super accurate and pretty.

Seriously its like 2lbs or something. Its awesome and nothing else really compares to it. If you look around and keep checking Amazon you'll find one cheaper than $400. Lots of people got theirs for under $300. I got mine for $210 after a partial refund because it was missing a piece( which Lejuan graciously hooked me up with) and had some minor imperfections.

Has real wires in the torso and working pistons, not to mention that the eyes light up... So yeah. Pretty awesome figure.

I don't mind that I paid more, because I got a virtually flawless one nice & early, & when I had the money to do it too.

Pretty broke at the moment though..

It would be nice to see R2 with a lower MSRP, but I have a feeling it's going to be the same, given the potential for the added complexity with R2 - retractible leg, compartments and tools, wheels.
