TDKR Hot Toys 1/6 Scale vehicle "THE BAT"

I seriously thought of buying the Turtle when they said that they were to make the vehicles from tdkr. But I didn't think it would be this big at the time. Seeing this stop motion video and the size of the Turtle, there is just no way I'm buying this.
But I have no doubt that HT will proceed with it. I think it will be a bit lower in price then what we think now, just to make the undecided decide, but it will still be expencive. And a small run..

I haven't either actually. Always thought it looked like a turtle, but now after the hot wheels toy, a turtle is all I see now.

Dunno, I for once can see the bat resemblance, if you look at it from the front the top mesh bits kinda look like wings

There wil most likely be a replica in a smaller scale.
But it won't fit 1/6 figures, will it?

I am planning to start building mine this week.
It shouldn't take long to get the basic structure done. And then we shall have a better idea of how easy it will be to hoist this thing around.

It looks incredible in the photos with all the Bat Vehicles, but I'd need to build an extention to house it all, probably worth it though.

I read somewhere that's it's meant to be 1.33 metres long and roughly 0.63 metres wide. Could be wrong though

Yeah but in a few years they may attempt another scale simply because the prices are getting into crazy territory...now a 1/9 HT might still be $125 or so!!!
