I think it looks damn good. I think the paints look extremely righteous. He could maybe use a little more eyebrow, but no biggie. I'm thinkin' y'all can count me it! :rock

Do you have a link to this look you are referring to? I'm not familiar with it (or do you just mean that it looks a bit more realistic a la the T2 effects?).

In Terminator 1 even though you only saw the one shot of the BD cyborg eye prior to the police station shootout the animatronic head made it very clear that the eye was moving around in sync with with other eye. Plus the eye "ball" didn't protrude from the socket, showing so much silver.

In Terminator 2 the limitations of make-up obviously prevented the damaged eye from moving. For the PF they sculpted it with the eyes looking in different directions, which just reminds me more of T2.

A minor nitpick though, I love this piece.

Man, from some angles the likeness really is very good. Maybe it is Trevor. :lol Still don't like the look with the shades, though... especially straight-on.

Ah, that's true. Bummer.

I still prefer the BD head on this dynamic pose instead of standing in front of a mirror or even instead of the head with the shades, which just looks off. Whether it's "screen accurate" or not it just looks better. Besides, it's very rare that Sideshow does a PF that perfectly mimics a specific scene with accuracy. They almost always take heavy artistic license with the poses and accessories.

That's why I said "not only is it not screen accurate." Accuracy isn't the end all be all, but when its not accurate AND reminds me of the cuddly T2 Arnold it makes me pause. However, I can't say I hate the slight T2 vibe without the glasses because it still looks pretty cool in its own right.

Love those hi res shots! The one thing that's off for me in terms of accuracy is that his shirt doesn't have the design on it. It's not very noticeable in the film, but it's there.

Go to the 1:24 mark:

godaiking has the right idea with his life size piece:

I will say one thing, his pose and accessories are FANTASTIC (and do indeed look straight out of the movie.) No Terminator as Nosferatu or crouching to fit into the Mystery Machine or holding a random accessory from another scene in the film like a pipe bomb, etc. Whew!

I agree. While they took license and did their own pose (it's not exactly lifted from a frame of the movie) it's still obviously from that scene and gets that across 100%. They nailed that this time.

(Obviously can't say the same for Jedi Luke :lol)
