The forehead just still looks wrong to me. Either its too clean in the sculpt, or too square. Just looks weird...
Its not a complete Trevor sculpt is it, did someone mention it was sculpted by someone else and then Trevor was brought in to fix it??
Maybe thats why it looks weird, more of a hybrid sculpt? :dunno

Would help if SS mentioned if the EX head had a light up feature or not.
Youd think since they had the oppurtunity to finally do a BD head on a Terminator PF they would include a light up feature since a lot of people were disappointed it wasnt included in the T2 PF.

NRD isnt helping, id like to get the EX, but am not totally sold on it as yet...
Maybe a day of looking at the pics will change my mind... sigh...

His forehead is my biggest nit pick for sure. He has the hairline of a 9 year old Italian child imo.

This is how I see it and I mean no disrespect to SS either. This is the best they can do, end of story. This is as good as they can deliver imo.

I'm getting it without question, I really like it. The likeness isn't all that great but i'm not a picky collector when it comes to getting something from the "never gonna happen" file.

Thanks again Sideshow :)

One word: Failed!
Price goes up, likeness off, eye doesn't look same direction with the gun where it is pointing. Damaged eye should be come standard along with his sunglasses.
Just FAILED!!!!!!

Excellent post, Mr. Voorhees. Splendid. :goodpost:

I think this looks great. Didn't expect much after the sketches for it, but man this thing kicks all kinds of butt.

The forehead is the only thing killing the likeness IMO

Maybe someone good with photoshop can see if fixing the forehead may help the likeness?

But I still think it's a great piece and if I can get it, I will

Agreed!

I'm just being honest. The same thing happened with SS's T2 PF and although I agreed that the body was too thin I bought it. Its a gorgeous piece. The same thing will happen with this one imo. I just think most of the freaks had very high expectations. They (including myself) wanted it to be literally perfect.

It lacks a lot to T1

A tad unfair to compare photos taken from two different parts of the film were the look of the T1 is so different.

I think he looks great in this shot.

Not as good a likeness as the T2 PF and Conan PF but still pretty good IMO. As I said I could see this being epic in person.

Nah no need, what you see is what you get. Remember Rambo II? They won't do anything in terms of tweak and what not. Trust me.

The sculpt somewhat seems a tad squished too in some photos. Arnold has the sculpt of a chimp, so its more elongated.

Heck, if I felt that every piece should be perfect in my eyes, I'd never buy any damn statues at all. I think you have to be able to let go a little bit at least. That's why I appreciated your earlier post... especially the "i'm not a picky collector when it comes to getting something from the "never gonna happen" file" part. :lol

I LOVE that shot! :rock

I remember almost exactly a year ago ............ I was chatting with the Canadian Sideshow distributor and he guaranteed me a "Terminator" collectable would never happen.

God damn that jacket is off the hook! :rock

Very true. But I still think it's a great piece regardless of the forehead. To me, this looks like it's going to have a great, epic and imposing feel on the shelf :rock

The likeness looks pretty good, but not as good as it could be. The major problem like many have said, is his forehead.
