In January of last year my wife asked me which collectibles I was waiting from sideshow before I could stop collecting and I said I wanted a Iron man 1/4 scale maquette, a Jack sparrow PF, a 1/2 scale Predator bust and a Terminator 1 PF with light up feature....

Oh well......after just about over a year I got my wish for all of them......

Now I have to convince her that I need a couple of more pieces before stop collecting..... ;)

This piece kicks ass, in my opinion......yeah, it could have been a bit better regarding the likeness but it is a cool looking piece.....

A must for my collection....

HD pics of this T-800 Premium Format Figure, clic on the pictures :

It's AWESOME :hi5:

Im sorry, but the head with glasses looks like he is wearing a wig. Look how clean it is around the edges on the hair line.

The battle damage head looks a lot better, see if you can spot the difference. Especially in the top right corner of the hair line.

To me the hair blends in a lot better on the BD sculpt, wheras the glasses head looks as though the hair has been 'popped' on and slid too far down..

:lol Isn't the light up feature still purely speculation?

The more and more I look at the photos the more and more I am liking it. I will be getting this to round out the collection. Now we just need them to release a T-1000 and another endo.

I think he looks great in this shot.

Not as good a likeness as the T2 PF and Conan PF but still pretty good IMO. As I said I could see this being epic in person.

that looks amazing.

I am getting him 100%

Its surprising the things people don't notice about T1. I recall people being confused as to why HT gave their figure long floppy hair - they didn't realise his hair gets shortened during the course of the film.

Some pics/angles look better than others, but looks pretty good overall.
Definitely jumping on the EX on Thursday.

DAMN IT !!! HOW MANY TIMES DO WE HAVE TO COMPLAIN THAT
THE FIRST T-800 T2 PREMIUM FORMAT WAS TOO SKINNY?...:slap

YET AGAIN, SIDESHOW RELEASES ANOTHER SKINNY ARNIE STATUE... :banghead

One thing I really like about this PF is that it seems they got Arnold's bulkiness right especially in the face. In T2, Arnold looked lean yet still puff, but in T1 he was much bulkier (from what I remember at least) and I think they captured that pretty well in this PF. Definitely see it in the face when comparing this PF to the T2 PF

EDIT: just realized how contrary my post is to the above one :lol

I wonder if they're going to do one from the 1st half of the movie(probably not), as this looks a lot like the T2 PF, with the leather and all.

There's absolutely no way Sideshow would do a battle damaged eye and not light it up.....not on a 1/4 scale.....I think looking at the photos you can really tell that it does light up...

The way the artist, probably Anthony Mestas at SS, painted it is made too look like it's lit up.

I hope I'm wrong, but it looks this way in the photos.

Al :)
