Fine! I'll ____ing do it! Send them to me! It's on! Just don't start _____ing when your light isn't as bright as you want it to be, or it's too damn bright or it flickers too much and robs you of precious slumber. Bring it!

I'll take the fifth one off the production line, Barb. You should have the kinks worked out by the fifth one! :lol :yess:

But what Im saying is, there is no need for an exclusive version.
There should be just one version, and that version should be an exposed endo eye headsculpt with glasses that are removable.
That way, you get both looks in one, without having to switch heads.
Thats my opinion on it anyway.
I just dont get sideshows logic here.

EDIT - Unless theyre bothered about the "holes" in the hair where the glasses would go.
That would look silly, I suppose.
:dunno
That (which is a bit more acceptable at 1/6 than 1/4 scale), and the damaged eye might have been be noticeable behind the glasses. Otherwise, I don't think they would have sculpted a "clean" head at all. As you can see here:

Arnold wasn't wearing the makeup under the glasses in the film. So, technically, though it is not what the character was supposed to look like at that point in the film, the regular PF looks seems to be screen accurate.

You know what I'm saying, don't be a douche. They work in that stuff and I don't, and they've done it before. I swear you just like to argue with people.

I would argue that I'm not the one being a douche. :wink1:

You're not being realistic. Expecting a company to automatically include a light-up feature in a head that comprises only a small percentage of what they're producing and that only maybe 5% of the people who buy that small percent are actually gonna display is unrealistic. Not even really cost effective either when you consider the overall run and the additional R&D it'd take to make it work and look seamless. The fact that they're even looking at it to see if it's feasible speaks volumes of the company.

Yeah, I was wrong.
I knew that they never used an endo eye under the glasses in the film though.
I just thought it would be cool to have on the PF...until I realised that it would look strange with hair holes.
I actually wouldnt mind seeing the eye behind the glasses though.

Of course you'd argue that :lol ...I wasn't calling you a douche directly. I was saying don't be one :lol ...anyways, if you reread my post, I said it shouldn't be that hard. I didn't say I expect them to do anything.

You think? Thanks for the vote of confidence... even if you are so incredibly WRONG! :lol

:lol :lol

So true. :lecture

I like how, IMO anyway, you're always playing Devil's Advocate, Nam. :duff

My common sense told me to keep my wallet in my pocket with this one

My common sense told me to take out some money from my wallet for this one :)

I could not resist, these two pictures sold me, I thought I would definitely display it with the EX head, but now I dig the regular head too. This PF is awesome. I really like the pose a lot.

I can't wait to display this to my newly acquired T800 bust (thank you LOTRfan!). I hope Sideshow will add a light up feature to this T1 PF, it will make it even BETTER :yess:

My theory:
SS knew there WILL IN FACT BE a Hot Toys 12" release of this version,
so SS put this PF on the fast track, not caring so much about quality as timing;
while the excitement about the HT Tech-Noir version was still fresh,
and while they knew the little fishies would bite. SS is just capitalizing on the hungry gap
between HT versions, and it shows.
If it were not so obviously parasitic of them, I would almost feel embarrassment on their behalf,
releasing such a crappy item at such a high price. Their motives are quite transparent to me.

In a few months or perhaps a year, HT will release a near-perfect 12" version,
and a lot of people will slowly begin to feel like suckers.
I'm glad I won't be one of them.

Shame on you Sideshow.
