When you'll be paying 100-200$ for shipping every single 1/4 scale piece & will get african american Indiana Jones, Iron Man MARK VI Maquette with chin painted by 3 year old, T2 T-800 PF with giant glue marks on the t-shirt & etc, then you will start worrying about QC issues of Sideshow products.
This is my most wanted PF since I started collecting and I want to know as much as possible about possible QC/non-QC issues before shipping.

Exactly. Here is what to tell your guy to look for before sending anything. These were not taken under a black light or with the use of any other visual enhancement type devices. They were there, I saw them, so I took pictures for Sideshow using a regular digital camera in order to get a replacement. You can clearly see the difference that there are no such marks on the regular head piece it came with.

It's strange how the SS photos looked very little like Arnold but the final product looks about perfect.

So happy I got this!

Just recieved mine today at work.I was able to open it at lunch and I'm truly blown away by the detail in this statue. It is true pictures don't do this justice, you have to see this in hand. Best job I've seen Sideshow do so far. Really glad I have this in my Terminator collection.

Yeah I was just commenting how great this item turned out compared to the original. I mean I know that this has happened before where the final product turns out better but has it ever been this much of an upgrade? Not sure why you put these

I don't know. It always looked great for me on the original pics & it looks great now.
The biggest problem is the lightning that Sideshow uses for their product pics. They always use very strong frontal light sources. It works great for robot-type characters (sounds a little bit funny here lol), but fails for human characters.
+ When you're taking pics of somebody like Arnold (person with very strong facial lines) it's better to take pics with the lightning source placed above the head (a lot of light sources need for good pics of course, but the one that makes accents must be placed above the head). Sideshow never uses that technique.

Personally I wasn't very impressed with the SS's photos but than I saw the 360 view I fall in love with the piece.
