Received the bust today and I am actually very pleased with it..I may put a wash on the teeth in time.

That's a good idea. I repainted my teeth on my old bust, looks a LOT better.

Aside from the eyes looking like the Terminator is tripping on mushrooms, I think this but looks great

Ok so I got my Terminator today. I'm pretty happy with it. I'm not very picky unless it's damaged. Anyway... Could someone please explain the articulated head to me? I can't seem to find anything that moves and I feel kinda stupid right now.

The head can turn left, right and slightly up and down, like its on a swivel..

I made a video of it outside in natural light

I'm sorry, I still don't get it. So just leave the head slightly out of its slot if you want it to swivel? The 501st clone trooper is a 1 piece and that swivels. This on the other hand, I would say it does not. Also, doesn't really matter but the line that runs from the top of the jaw bone on both sides should run in front of the torso.

After you plug the head in, it turns..you don't need to keep it out of the slot for you to do so...

Love this bust! The definitive endo bust IMO.

I do have some negatives, really only in comparison to the endoskull bust. I wish it had a chrome finish. It does have a nice metallic looking quality to it, but it's a bit duller than I would have liked (but I think it actually shows up a little duller in my pics than it looks in person). Also, it's a minor detail but I wish it had the dimming out feature of the smaller bust when you turn the eyes off. The teeth are actually better in person than I thought they'd be, but still wish they were all separate to add to the realism.

On the plus side, I do prefer it overall to the skull bust. I love the design, I love that you can turn the head, the battle damage weathering is done better and the smaller bust doesn't compare to the commanding presence that the size of this bust has.

Anyways hope you enjoy the pics!

Question: is the T-800 Battle Damaged 1:1 bust the one produced by Sideshow a few years back?

Question, I am in California so I pay sales tax.
Do I buy from SS and pay extra 60 bucks incase I have a quality issue, or save and buy out of state?
If so, where do you recommend to purchase?
Thanks.

Save the money and buy from sideshow dealer/comic shop. Any issues and they will get with sideshow rep for you. I got mine from secret compass
