So I'm on the fence about this. I currently have the CC bust, though screen accurate, the paint just doesn't do it for me. Also the presence of this piece with the torso looks very impressive. Do you guys anticipate SS doing promos considering this is an open ES? such as free shipping or double points? I live in CA so I get hit with the sales tax. I'm just starting to look on eBay, but I much rather have SS's customer service.

If they do a promo, it may not be for a long time..

I'm in CA as well (Sacramento ) and bought from ebay seller "Billanddeb"

They are an authorized Sideshow dealer. It shipped directly from Sideshow to me. One day shipping. I bought it Thursday afternoon, had it on Saturday.
889.99 plus 30.00 one day shipping. No tax. I am more than happy and would recommend them.

About the finish....it's not chrome. Some plastic parts like cheek pistons and chest pistons are chrome plastic, also the battery door side of the head and CPU cover are chrome. The skull and chest and body are silver painted with weathering. It's a nice chrome type paint, not glitter like Chronicle, but still paint. You won't be able to clean it up with fingernail polish remover like you could on the chrome T2 endoskull.

There is plastic parto on this? Wtf? I thought it was all polystone?

Sideshow's description does not list any of the materials used to make this bust.
Highlighted plastic in yellow. I know for certain the large cylinders on the pistons are plastic, the rods may be resin.
I think they tried to keep the weight down on this one. I'm pretty sure it's not polystone, just a lightweight polyester resin.

Thanks for the information!

Useful info but doesn't change my perception abt it at all. It's wise to keep the weight down. They couldn't have maintained the weight analogy to the previous very heavy 1/1 endoskull.

Exactly. This would have been way too heavy if done like the previous T2.
I would have preferred chrome plate instead of paint, but in person the effect is pretty nice.

I have to say I AM LOVING THIS piece!!!!!!

Well done Sideshow!!!

I hated the new movie Terminator Genisys and I hated the new design on the Endoskeletons so therefore will not be collection any thing from that movie even the chronicles have done an excellent job.

So I hope Side show keep making T1 and T2 models.

Heres my bust:

If either of you guys want a companion t600 bust to go with this, let me know, mine is available for pick up obviously.

Sideshow using plastic parts and not chroming the bust is not an attempt at making display options easier by cutting back the weight. It's mearly them cutting corners on production. I see this as unacceptable in that their older pieces were of higher quality.

Saw this at a local store - looks good, if I didn't already have a Terminator bust I'd get it.

Battery operated only though, don't know why they do that.

You know I rarely turn on my endo's eye lights anyways, so maybe the over dilated eyes aren't too big a deal. I just wish the head was shaped accurately. I'm no sculptor so it's hard for me to put my finger on it, but the head looks too narrow or something.

Alex,I'm no endo connaisseur but isn't the head of the T1 endo more narrow than the ones seen in T2?Looking at some pictures I have a feeling it is...
In any case the bust looks fantastic in person despite the 'issues'.

Got mine today. The base is broken and paint missing on three teeth :gah:

I like it. Shipper box is huge and a pain to carry. I have the Chronicle one too so I don't want anymore Endo busts. You get a better value with those Prime 1 1/3 Batman statues though.
