but that ending is as real as it gets. the end narration kinda sinks your heart.lolz
That **** was crazy real and ahead of it's time. As far as Sitcom endings go, they really nailed growing up. Dad dies, his friend grows apart, and he doesn't get the girl.

Damn really? Well that's life tho. Being in your 20s is crazy cuz you thought things would never change and you'd stay young forever boy are you wrong xD . Life hits you hard like a mother. But hey just gotta keep on walking .

John's read dad paradox will never make any sense. In Kyle's timeline, Sarah was training John as a kid and "went into hiding before the war." So that means, in that timeline Kyle was already sent back. But is there a clean timeline with no time travel until after Judgment Day? If there was, John's dad was someone else and with Kyle coming back he changed history by switching the father and probably made John born sooner. We'll never know.
