The Rock sucks, he shoulda stayed in wrastling

I'm tired of seeing him in all these films, if they stick him in a Terminator film it's definitely jumping the shark.

So did him playing the inspiration for the T800 (and not a Terminator) turn out to be a rumor? Or are you guys just guessing?

Personally I'm guessing, but it's probably a rumor

I'm not saying he couldn't pull off a T-800 since he's built like a battleship.

I love the Rock, The rock is a better actor than a lot of these Hollywood action types. He can do funny movies and he can deliver on the serious action packed movies as well. people really don't give him the credit he deserves.

The Rock is the only mainstream actor with comparable size to Arnold as the Terminator. In fact, he might even be bigger now than Arnold was then. I would have no problem with him as a Terminator.

People act like Arnold took Terminator after his stint on Broadway.

The Rock is the only mainstream actor with comparable size to Arnold as the Terminator. In fact, he might even be bigger now than Arnold was then. I would have no problem with him as a Terminator.

Their height and weight are pretty comparable. As much as people "geek out" about the Rock's size, hes much smaller than he was when he was an active wrestler. He gained about 15 pounds of pure muscle for PnG and was still about 20 pounds lighter than he used to be.

Its funny you mention those two. Worthington has that look like he'd make a great action star, but as you said, alot of times its about onscreen charisma, and he doesn't have it from what I've seen. Hes like watching cardboard.

And although I like Chris as Kirk, I couldn't buy him being a "badass" in that comedy with Bane, let alone something where he is supposed to be a semi beleivable bad ***.

Mass-wise, not even close to T1's Arnie. But height-wise, Arnold being 5'11" (I don't care what his bio says - seen him in person and he even had on 1" heels ), and Johnson being 6'5," Dwayne would certainly make an intimidating antagonist.

Arnie was even way bigger in the last Olympia he competed in before T1. I remember in "Pumping Iron" they state he's 6'2 but that never computed with me since it doesn't seem close to that height at all

the rock may have on screen presence, but as a terminator...his face is too expressive. his eyes alone is expressive enough.
i'd prefer a well built nobody with good screen presence, bare minimum acting skills with deadlike/cardboard like expression as a terminator.

who ever it will be, he wont get much speaking parts in it anyway.

Did they modulate his voice in T1? He sounds so robotic and cold in the first film. Maybe his accent was thicker then.
