Re: Terminator: Genisys (July 1st, 2015)

I saw it three times at the theater (once in 3D, once in 2D, then again in 3D when the "extended" edition was released the following year) and I bought the 2D blu-ray when it first came out. But yeah, since I got my 3D TV and player last August I just haven't felt the inclination to plunk down the cash for the 3D blu-ray. Maybe that version would bring back the wow factor but I just never feel the need to revisit it anymore.

:exactly:

I'm too busy enjoying the incredible 3D on TWS/Avengers/JP.

FR will be another movie that I will enjoy the 3D at home.

I have the 3d blu, but no 3d tv. :cuckoo:

:lol

Oh, is that all? Hahaha! That's totally normal behavior. . .

Whew, for a second there I figured you would think me crazy.

Glad you don't. :lol

I am so happy that Milius didn't have Arnold say any one liners in Conan.

At least King Conan will be free of repeating funny lines.

I haven't written him off yet with Avatar, at least not the next one.

I think at a minimum people will go see it just for the morbid fascination where he's going with it.

Plus the second people see massive mechs and tanks in the trailer they will go gaga over the tech.

I'm sure the visuals will also have improved and be a selling point.

I think we're all kind of curious, no?

It's James Freaking Cameron afterall

I'll definitely want to see it. I can only hope he'll incorporate more practical effects in the next Avatar.

Re: Terminator: Genisys (July 1st, 2015)

THAT'S the problem.

Avatar 2, 3, 4 and the Final 2-part epic will need to overcome this. I just don't see it.

ZERO desire to see more Avatar- I don't get why it was so huge a hit- but with very little following or huge demand for more

He contracted Lucas syndrome. There is no known cure. Please, keep his money in your thoughts.

Weren't they on some round table a couple of years back where the two of them had some kind of fundamental disagreement regarding the future of CG? I can't remember the details, but it seemed like Cameron was a stronger advocate of CG than even Lucas!

Cameron will be a weird old man who will be the first to try and download his mind into a computer.... and fail.

End up with something like this...
