No I mean Chronicle. They have digital scans of Arnold used for Genisys that they're using for a bust, as well as future Conan statues.

FYI...for those planning to see this, if you frequent Red Robin, you can buy a $25 gift card on their site and you will get a free movie ticket to see this. My girlfriend wants to go there for her birthday so I'll go ahead and get one. :)

I'll be honest, I can live with OK. I wasn't expecting great. As long as it's not bad.

I just hope it doesn't look like a cheap made for TV thing. The trailers looked almost low budget.

I've seen "Jerkassic Whored", there's no coming back. It broke me and now I'll see every 2015 summer blockbuster...

Started my Terminator marathon with Salvation. Can someone please tell me WTF is wrong with this movie? Why does it get bashed? I find it so fresh and original. The previous three had the same format where Salvation dared to bring new ideas into the universe! I personally enjoyed it. The action is unique as it is not over done but just perfect. After Salvation I started the original. Funny thought I never realized before, why were the cops after Reese at the very beginning? The cop was giving his all
Chasing Reese down the alley for what......stealing a bums pants?

I saw TS twice in theaters and several times on tv, and although I don't hate the film with a passion like some people, I don't like it that much. It's kind of forgettable, which is the worst thing a film can be. There's nothing that really stands out, and considering the source material and cast, I think the film should have been better.

For every thing the film does well, it also does something wrong. For example, the story is set in the future (finally!) ...but the future wasn't the same from the previous films, and it didn't even look or feel the same. The film gives us John Connor, this mythical savior we've been hearing about for 30 years (yes!)....but the film isn't really about him, instead it focuses on a brand new character played by an actor who isn't exactly known for his charisma.

I found the film a bit boring at times, and you know what it could have used? More Terminators, but instead we get all these humans fighting humans or all these scenes to develop the new character, Marcus and a possible relationship between him and the female soldier, which it doesn't even payoff in the end anyway (not that there needed to be a relationship to begin with). The story also has some plot holes, but that's nitpicking since most films have them.

Ultimately, it's not the future story most terminator fans wanted to see. I wanted a film about the guy Kyle Reese talked about in T1, the guy he was willing to die for, not Marcus the hybrid robot who is in need of redemption for some past sin, and who is secretly working for Tim Burton's wife.

Having said all that, there's a few good things in it that I like.

McG never captured Cameron's vision of the future. Bale is awful, in fact, none of the cast is that good. Bland cinematography. Skynet is stupid. Not a very convincing apocalyptic world. Obligatory CGI Arnold. Forgettable movie. PG-13.

I really liked salvation. I dont consider any film after T2 to be part of the story, but I like it as its own film.

I can love silly movies. Jurassic World and AOU were fun.
This I thought was garbage, I can't believe why Cameron endorsed this, it actually damages my view of him and T2.

I bet he got some development promise for the avatar sequels for it, or something.
This is like a bad expensive TV show.

The first numbers are in:

Ahead of its U.S. debut, the latest chapter in the Terminator franchise, Terminator: Genisys, grossed $8.3M from 1,277 locations in 10 smaller territories this weekend. The start is 29% above 2009’s Terminator: Salvation and 6% below Mission; Impossible – Ghost Protocol. This initial rollout included some Scandinavian markets as well as Latin American and Asian territories. Arnold Schwarzenegger is back after sitting out 2009’s Salvation to focus on running the state of California. He returns to the fold here in a time travel plot that sees him in both current and younger incarnations. Alan Taylor directs with Jason Clarke, Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, J.K. Simmons, Matt Smith, Courtney B. Vance and Byung-hun Lee also in the cast.

Of the international highlights, Singapore was a No.1 with $1.4M from 28 sites. That was 27% above Terminator: Salvation making it the biggest bow in the franchise and the biggest opening for a Schwarzenegger film.

Likewise, Colombia opened at No. 1 with $1.2M from 162 sites, 150% above Salvation and 232% above Ghost Protocol. Again, the biggest opening in the franchise and the best for Schwarzenegger. Peru, Vietnam and Turkey tell similar stories with No. 1 openings that well outpace Salvation. Marking how the market has grown, Vietnam provided $694K at 69 cinemas making Genisys 787% bigger than the previous installment.

The U.S. opens over July 4 weekend with 34 international markets also signing up including Australia, Brazil, France, Mexico, Russia and the UK. The following week adds Germany, Italy, Spain and Japan.

‘Terminator: Genisys’ Bows To $8.3M; ‘Jurassic World’ Adds $82.5M In International BO | Deadline
