Sarah Connor Chronicles had an episode where a Terminator's infiltration actually went so far as it being in a relationship with a woman as I recall. So this idea of a T-800 that actually raises Sarah Connor from childhood is actually a step back from that extreme.

Extreme... For the Infiltrator to actually infiltrate...
Also in the series it was played as if the woman's head was so deeply stuck in her work that even T-888 could easily infiltrate her.

Summer Glau looks like an Alien to me.

I don't know why it was ever in doubt. The cyborgs use real living tissue, stands to reason it will deteriorate. The films simply were never required to show it or address it till now. I always thought they should have addressed it in T3 but they decided merely to pretend he wasn't any older looking.

So yeah if Cameron said he always had that in mind I believe him. I too had it in mind.

But didn't Uncle Bob say that they can live for 120 years with their existing power cell? Would that also mean the flesh suit would last that long too? If it did, he'd look like a robotic mummy by that time. That is, if it degrades at the same rate as a human.
