This is what happens when you try to milk the absolute crap out of a franchise. The plot sounds like something out of an alternative universe. I think they might be trying to take a page out of the Star Trek reboot, but in that one the essence and relationships of all the main characters were preserved, and they were able to work in Nimoy nicely. But instead it feels like they had to pull Arnold out of mothballs and seemingly had to specifically write around him. Hopefully he's not the connective tissue that holds the entire movie and trilogy together. I doubt that's the case, Arnie's not the box office draw he was 20 years ago. The movie might end up being great. The pics look pretty terrible though.

Man Riddick, I hope you're not serious. You're one of my favorite freaks on here and certainly one of the best freaks Russia has to offer.

Please don't tell me you're another P.

I wont tell, that would be ridiculous.

:lol

And stop acting like I never ever said "T2 is a blockbusterized T1" on this site! :pfft:
It's a very solid fanfic with glorious cinematography. But still a fanfic since Cameron wasn't interested in the franchise.

Re: Terminator: Genisys (July 1st, 2015)

T1 - Cameron's elementary take on how technology can destroy us.

T2 - Cameron's sophisticated meditation on how technology can save us.

T2 is a reflection of Cameron's evolving attitudes and growing embrace of advanced film techniques and cutting edge FX. It's a much more mature, fully realized effort.

That's why T2 is the superior film. T1 is Cameron's Blitzkrieg Bop, T2 is his Ninth Symphony.

It was James Cameron at his peak. Until that b---- sold us all out with Titanic. :)

What was T2 Battle Across time in 3D?

A little piece of me dies at each drip fed bit of news. If the trailer's tone is right I may still give this a chance. That endo looks like utter **** though, the dvd set came straight to mind

Re: Terminator: Genisys (July 1st, 2015)

He peaked in 1991. Everything since is an attempt to match former glory. If you think T2 is a lesser film than Aliens, you're all sadly mistaken. T2 set a new bar in action and effects, had a great story, a great villain, and Schwarzenegger kicked major ass. Aliens is an amazing film, but not better than T2.

Wow. What a load of crap! The pictures, the plot... everything. Sometimes I think I have gone crazy because I can't understand how these studios can mess up a franchise this bad, when all of us know what a quality Terminator movie should look like.

Screw it... sell the rights to Marvel/Disney, see what they can make with it.
