Apparently, I'm the only one in the known universe to like T3.

i thought this was hilarious so if you really hate it that much, you are humorless, and take movies way too seriously.

I don't hate T3. I guess someone didn't see those posts Ironically, you're the one taking things too seriously, so I have to ask, why so serious?

I know your post wasn't aimed at me but, personally, I think that I have a cracking sense of humour & this is precisely why I found nothing remotely funny in T3. I thought it was absolutely horrendous on every single level, bar none.

T3 was a triquel in the established series with previous films being written and directed by the same man.
Yet it went in different direction with no understanding or appreciation of the concept or canonical material.

One can enjoy T3 by taking it for what it is, but that doesn't make it a good "Terminator" movie.

It is hilarious.....if it were an MTV movie awards spoofing of Terminator. Alas, as RIDDICK said, they called it 'Terminator 3' and put it in cinemas.

Because whenever they do an original idea, most of the time NO ONE Cares...

If a movie is not from a comic or based on a novel or a remake or a sequel, then no one gives a rat's ass. it has happened time and time again, they will try some New, Original idea for a movie and it flops at the box office.

For all the complaining and whining everyone does about remakes or sequels, most people don't really go to see new stuff anymore.

Yeah, thinking back over the last few years we've seen a few moderately successful, genuinely innovative sci-fi/suspense/horrorish kinds of films like Looper, Snowpiercer, District 9, Under the Skin. But a ******, half-assed Terminator movie that appeals to some vague concept of nostalgia and branding will make more than 10 of those kinds of movies will combined. So. . .

I liked T3, but there's no way Genissyyyss isn't going to be 10 times worse.

I think it'll be better if all they do is cut out the camp and self-quoting from T3 (really hate that in Star Wars, too). I do like the overall premise of this film, though it's almost unthinkable that it'll hold its own in comparison to the first two. Still, I might be able to just enjoy it for what it is, all the same.

I'm confused. So we see Connor sending back Reese to save Sarah, but she's already saved? Does this take place during the original Terminator movie timeline or is it like say right after T2 or 3? So confused.
