Re: Terminator: Genisys (July 1st, 2015)

That Endo on the cover looks like a pretty fun guy. I like how he's smiling and chillin' with the gang. I bet he's great at parties.

I think we can all agree these Terminator movies will never be the same as when James Cameron (the young one in his prime) was making them. You know, the pre-Titanic Cameron. The Cameron that was boning the Walking Dead producer and Sarah Connor herself.

Also Stan Winston.

Truely a god,a pity I´ll never meet him. His art changed my childhood, literally.

Oh Hot Toys? Can we have those endos please? Your gawky, horse-mawed endoskeleton that is so bright & shiny that I need to look directly at the sun as relief for my eyes was OK for a while but I'd prefer to have endos based on the movie next time. Thanks.

I love mine, but yeah...x2.
:lecture
In 1:6 please to accompany the rest of my T1/2 collection.

Don't worry about it, a-dev. I'm sure they will give us a damn nice, fairly screen accurate one of these soon enough.

Bloody hell. The teaser today almost made me forget about this cheesy-ass photoshoot.

Re: Terminator: Genisys (July 1st, 2015)

I got more feels from da Terminator teaser...teaser than from Star Wars.

I so can't wait till I finally see this movie I hope it's EPIC and I'm glad Arnold still join these movies.

:hi5:

All these jokers will come to realize that T3 is an underrated movie. Of course it's not as good as the first two, but at least it was rated R.

I hope these costumes aren't in the movie. "JC" on the sleeve? Is there a "JC" in his drawers as well? FFS. :slap

We will see tomorrow, but the TG teaser wasn't horrible.

The X-Wing's got me pumped though.

Re: Terminator: Genisys (July 1st, 2015)

Teaser of teaser looks very good- good vibe...the actual teaser will tell us more. I'm liking what I saw (for a few seconds)

Re: Terminator: Genisys (July 1st, 2015)

Because these decisions are driven by soulless number crunching I guess. Do you think these stinking rich producers have any real understanding of the appeal of something like The Terminator? They see it as a franchise to be exploited. No different than opening up a new McDonald's somewhere.

no, it really is more about all the research they do and all the feedback from people and modern trends, how the market for this sort of movie is doing, there is nothing creative about this at all, it's all Marketing saying what they need to make to sell toys and what executives think will bring more kids to the theater. etc.

Re: Terminator: Genisys (July 1st, 2015)

I' m awaiting the moment Schwarzenegger proclaims Genisys as duh best Terminayda moovee evah! Ya know, like all actors do with the latest film in a franchise. LIARS!

An exercise in money grabbing.

Why does the film industry insist on ruining well loved films and franchises with excessive, over the top, money grabbing sequels?

Because whenever they do an original idea, most of the time NO ONE Cares...

If a movie is not from a comic or based on a novel or a remake or a sequel, then no one gives a rat's ass. it has happened time and time again, they will try some New, Original idea for a movie and it flops at the box office.

For all the complaining and whining everyone does about remakes or sequels, most people don't really go to see new stuff anymore.

Cause no one makes you go see them. :dunno

No new Star Wars movies are needing, but money is to be made.

If this didn't make you walk out, nothing will :lol

i thought this was hilarious so if you really hate it that much, you are humorless, and take movies way too seriously.

Apparently, I'm the only one in the known universe to like T3. :lol

Nope, there are plenty of other who like it, too, myself included.
