I hope that the improvements that were made from T1 to T2 will be repeated with T4 to T5.

I hope they do release a T-800, the ones available now on ebay are ridiculously over-priced.

Chrome!

Im hope Bale doesnt sound like hes got a racoon stuck in his throte again....like he did in Batman. Dam, it pissed me off every time he talked like that in Dark knight...its all I could focus on!...WHY DOES HE SOUND LIKE HES TAKING A CRAP ALL THE TIME!
If he sounds like that in salvation im walking out...I just wont be able to focus on the movie..:D

Oh Come on!! His batman voice was not annoying. I am surprised christian bale's batman portrayal is getting a lot of hack from you guys on this forum. Let me tell you this, he is by far the best batman!! Far better than michael keaton and others.

Yea i don't get this crap about Bales voice as Batman, i mean hell Michael Keaton was the same in and out of the character of Batman to Bruce Wayne..he maybe just whispered a bit more when he was Batman, thats better?.

I to agree about Bale's Batman voice. It wasn't bad at all. After all, his character requires him alter his voice so that no one will recognize him. That is the only reason for it sounding the way it does.

I think his voice works for Batman, but I think some of the complaints are that he's using the same kind of voice in this movie, but I guess that's how the guy sounds naturally if he needs to shout.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I dont remember a single t 700 being in the movie.. then again I must have dozed off at the scene.

It was the torso/arms that attacks Connor in the opening Satellite raid. And thats the ONLY time we ever see (it is also never referenced by name, unlike the other T's).

TS certainly overcame the early trash reviews, but it wasn't an epic movie. It was done in that scale, but there was so little story, and most of that was centered around a character who looks like he will only exist for this movie. Cancelling the Marcus figure.

Oh wait, I haven't ordered it yet.

600 is cool. I'll keep that figure. 700 does not exist in the movie, so I'll consider the 700 figure as another, rougher 800.
If the Arnold T-800 is in this movie, why would Skynet have a factory making nothing but 700s. There are really only 800s yet to be skinned and programmed in there if you think about it logically, and none of those do anything but hang on their racks in this movie.
Bale was good enough for me to keep his figure as Connor.

this film called "Terminator 2018" in China …… WTH

It's kinda like all the Godzilla movies being known by the year they came out, ie, Godzilla 1985 ('84 in Japan), Godzilla 2000.

So if the T-800 had more screen time then Hot Toy's will probably make a figure of it, right? I'm gonna pass on the 700 then.

Don't pass in the 700. That is the 800 in this movie. There are no 700s. Don't know why they started calling them that.

I hope they do release a T-800, the ones available now on ebay are ridiculously over-priced.

See also, 700.

Yeah I know they are actually 800s, HT basically re-released it with a new texture, but its the texture on *T-700* aka 800s which I don't like. It looks like somebody dipped it in a tank of acid.

EVerything machine in this movie doesn't look clean and shiny like James Cameron's future. Within this altered timeline, everything is less refined and a little more gritty. These T-800s are the same, a little less polished. It seems that the delay in Judgement Day allowed Skynet's technology to start out more advanced. That may explain why these are showing up in 2018, and not in 2029, yet they don't look as clean as they might given 11 more years.

So I have a pretty good idea I'm making the right choice in not ordering Marcus or the T-700. The former will almost certainly be in this film only and the latter is actually incorrectly named as it turns out!

I'm fine with that. 600 and Connor.

Just got back from the midnight show, and I must say that I was quite impressed, especially after hearing some of the early reviews. Yes, its an action flick (I cant believe one early reviewer compared it to TDK), and yes its MUCH improved over T3. The audience was very pleased and even cheered several times (especially at the end ;) ). Now I can breath a sigh of relief and dont have to worry about canceling a bunch of pre-orders! :woo

ordering movie collectibles before you see the movie?:monkey1

James Cameron is the master....I dont think his movies will ever be beat. He set a bench mark. I honestly think terminator should have ended at T2.I just watched my blu-ray skynet editon...it just amazes me watching this movie again. It was so ahead of its time...
