just got back.

i enjoyed it a lot.

did it have a crap ton of problems with it? yeah, of course it did.
but it was never gonna be as good as the first two..

frankly, it blew me away just by being better (by far) than t3.

And so i sat there, enjoyed it for what it was, and enjoyed getting to see a new terminator movie.

hell, if they go some better places with the next one, i'll be excited for that too.

I have no idea why i'm getting that t-700 figure though.. lol.. but still, it looks cool.

i am a very critical person, and very in depth with my feelings on films usually. but honestly, i didn't give a crap tonight. I just went to have a good time. The film is flawed all over.. sure.. but it was by no means like sucking a ^^^^ covered in poop, as harry knowles put it on aicn.

most critics today are morons though. Read harry's review and tell me it isn't one of the stupidest things you have ever read.

So would you guys say it was better than Wolverine ?

i refused to see wolverine.

why?
because it looked worse than x3.

but then again, the sheer fact that this had ONE terminator in it, let alone as many as it did.. was plenty enough to make me see it, even if it ended up sucking..

wolverine didn't really have anything in it to entice me. I stopped caring about seeing gambit when they killed cyclops, screwed phoenix, and killed xavier, and so on and so on and so on..
meh.
yeah. i know. bitter much? lol

but harry is not a critic. that's universal knowledge by now. you have to be able to WRITE first before becoming one, and i mean, write sentences in the proper structures, not just type in loose strings of incoherent rambling thoughts.

but the thing with harry is, and this is also universal knowledge, he LOVES everything. even with the worst movie, he can still rationalize it in his brain and find something to love about it. and he HATES T4. really really hates it. that says a lot about the movie.

So would you guys say it was better than Wolverine ?

that's a tough question. you really shouldn't ask that of anyone. might as well ask which taste better - donkey poo or horse manure?

rewatch T2 and X2. that'd be my suggestion. but that's just me.

I guess you didn't watch the movie past the credits huh?

You may want to go back and watch the real ending of the movie. :D

Wolverine movie wasn't at all what I was expecting. It was just 'okay', maybe good enough to pass one night. I mean honestly, ever since X-men 1, we have been getting too much of Wolverine and too exposure to just one thing can become stale pretty fast. Maybe if they went the way the game was, it may have turned out slightly better, but who knows. But even from the Terminator trailers I can tell, it's better than Wolverine.

Saw it last night, and it was a pretty great film. The T-600 were freaking badass, as well as T-800, what an intense fight. I not sure when the T-700 were shown, does anyone know when there were shown? I hope T5 and T6 would be set in the time where the future were shown in T2, just T-800 and HK VS humans on battlefield.

The film was a good 7-7.5/10 so it didn't suck. If I were to rate them, it would look something like this:

T1 10/10 (Original, creepy and unique to sci-fi at the time)
T2 10/10 (Master piece made by a legendary team of film makers)
T3 2/10 (Phantasm)
T4 7/10 (Good action, cool effects, sound, etc)

I not sure when the T-700 were shown, does anyone know when there were shown?
i'm not sure either. they're really too similar to tell apart. especially during action scenes.
the only ones i know for sure were t600s were the ones with mini guns. i guess the endos without mini guns could've been t700s.
either way, i'm getting the damn figures.

did anyone else expect arnold to pick up the mini gun from the t600 he wrecked and chase connor around with it?
i did :/

I can just see as the months and years roll on the scores for T4 going down, down and down once the new film excitement wears off. Thats not a slag on anyone here, heck I liked T3 when I first saw it and would have been overgenerous in my rating of it...now I hate it with a passion.

maybe. i loved the cameron movies when i was a kid and now they're unwatchable. different strokes, i guess.

the cameron movies are UNWATCHABLE??? wow.

kids these days.

As long as you don't go into Salvation with huge expectations and for everything to make 100% sense then you should enjoy the movie. I loved the CGI Arnold's part obviously and was pleasantly surprised with the Marcus character, also I thought Anton Yelchin did a pretty good job as Kyle Reese.

I tire of having to approach my favourite franchises like that. Why can't anyone make something genuinely good anymore??
