This movie was a letdown, but far from Batman and Robin territory, and I am a huge Terminator fan. 5.5/10. I will leave it at that.

No one cares what you think

Unless you put in your opinion :duh

Just kidding, but you really should add IMO, it sounds like your making it law that everyone think that the movie is bad

i actually take the fan boy comment as an insult. i've been into termo's since my mom took me to see the movie when i was 5 in 1984. can you say the same? i didn't think so ( if you b-day listing is accurate ). and, when i saw t2 in 1991 when i was 12. yeah t3 was a meh at best film. but just 'cause you were let down by ts doesn't give you the right to throw side ways insults at those who like the figs.

if your SO upset that the film sucked (to you), join the writers guild, write a better script, go to film school or whatever, get your ideas out there in the hopes that another terminator gets made just the way YOU want it to be.

no one's making you like the movie. no one's strapping you down with calipers on your eyelids in front of it. ok, you don't like it, so what?

is it a life altering event? does it threaten the meaning of your existence? are you so emotionally wrapped up in this movie being bad that it ruins your day? if you answer yes to any of these, a bad movie is the least of you problems.

now before you get so upset that you have to feel personally attacked by my response, think. what have i written here that can be construed as such? nothing.

Ease up on there mate... Look at the my post above this one... I'm fine with opinions... I do have my own though. :)

I'm studying Animation and Film... just so you know. And I saw T2 at the cinemas before I ever saw T1. However, I did loved them both and they might me my most re-watched films. But that actaully counts for little. Because this was a shocking film. From a film as a film point of view! I do think that the movie was bad because of the editing in terms of plot development... Notice Terry Crews in the film... what happened to his story? Thinks like that. I mostly annoyed with this film because of McG... He spoke so passionately about terminator and really did the hard sell and I brought it. What a ****** I am! :lol

Now I'm generally not an 'over the top spamming films' kind of guy... But I can tell you now, this film was a turkey when it could quite easily been great...

I've also mentioned previously what I feel would have made this film better.
Although I did like the fight with the T-800...
Until John Conner got stab in the heart and then lived long enough to get a heart transplant from Marcus in a non-sterile environment, assumingly with out any anti-rejection medication... I am huge supporter of suspension of disbelief, but c'mon!? That’s actually inane!!!

Jesus Grange, you're like my old lady's cuckoo clock. You just keep repeating yourself. You don't have Alzheimers do you, you said you hated this movie a couple of pages ago.

sorry i missed that post. :)
yeah i agree with the cpt jericho bit being glossed over and some other missing stuff, woulda been nice.
personally i ignore director's, actors, etc selling their wares. it seems very self serving (i know they need to promote, but sheesh). it tends to leave either a bad taste or over excitement about their product. i go cold, opening morning and let my gut make the call. was it "saving private ryan"? f no! was it "kiss meets the phantom of the park"? f no! it was good enough to keep me positively interested. even though that's quite a huge margin. :lol

given your chosen trade you probably see things from a much different perspective than i. it tends to shatters the illusion. much the same way i saw how things happen in what i did that really made me get the hell out of there.

sorry if i sounded pissy, i hate "fan boy" comments. i know they're on here. but getting to know some of these characters, there's more regular joes than i imagined.

same here.... everyone in the theater started screaming when he popped out of the cell.

You know its funny you mention that because both me and my wife were surprised that not one person made a noise here in town. I always thought there would be some cheering here but nothing, Canadians must be too boring I guess :D

IMO you're being a jerk. A total jerk. Mods may strike me down, but i'm getting sick of your BS.

You insult people, and then when someone insults YOU, you go nuts. Stop.

I was cringing in my seat of how awesome the Arnold scene was. The whole last half of TS is epic...but I still dont like it all too much. Eh. Dont hate it...but I feel overall meh about it.

maybe i was a little tipsy from the drinks i had. i love going to the "premier" seatings in my theater because they serve drinks and only allow people 21 and up.

i enjoyed the entire movie, but i still don't feel like i could watch it repeatedly like T2.

Acorrding to your post....you werent. Nothing indicates you were kidding.
