I just read through the last 15 pages of this thread because it's soooooo boring today at work and when i look out my window the weather is so nice.....but since I can't leave yet I decided to read what people are saying about TS.

No thats not entirely true, in your case people slam you because you say the same thing over and over again. It gets both old and irratating after a while. There is a difference between what you are saying and what is really happening.

Sorry dude but its the truth. Voice your opinion but don't do it hourly to the point where people snap from irritation.

And that thread you mention came from a ghost town site that has nothing new to post. This site has far more positive members than it does negative imo.

Dang dude! WTF? Surely you won't resort to Terminator on Terminator crime? Relax man. I wasn't out to insult you, its a fact, take it for what its worth, my intention was not to insult you.

There HAS to be at least 50-60 posts about how much you either hate the idea of, or hated that this film was made or how bad it turned out. If I hated a movie I would post my 2 cents and then move on, there is no way i'm gonna change anyones opnion so why bother?

I'm not out to change other peoples opinion. I just disliked this film and I'm dissapointed how many supposed terminator fans rant and rave about it. There is no rule which says I can't talk about my thoughts on a movie.

I guess you're right tho, even talking about this movie is giving it too much credit.

i felt the same at first and i dig the character, but it would be an injustice to his sacrifice and the bookends of his existence to do that.... from a story telling POV.

as for hollywood, we'll get a marcus spinoff where he teams up with star to fight crimes throughout history until one day the next leap will be the leap home......

Look I understand that everyone is has there own opinion... But, I can not understand how so many of, so called 'Terminator Fans', you could like it at all?!?
It seems like you're simply fan-boys that crave collectibles so badly, that you'll accept such a rubbish movie so you can get a T-600 and John Conner figure... Which I have ordered myself and still want to get because they are great figures... But I can at least I can still admit the movie was as lame as Batman & Robin!

Completely... Now I think I should reiterate something... I really wanted to love this movie... But I didn't. I'm happy that some of you like it for yourselves and I'm not trying to changes that... But I'm just annoyed that films like this are getting supported and the powers that be in Hollywood are seemly just making movies with Kids that don't understand the material for money these days... BTW, I'm 25 and think that McG is man-child who doesn't understand concept of Terminator.

So sorry if I've been longwinded... but I'm just really argry at this film! It should have been great!

i actually take the fan boy comment as an insult. i've been into termo's since my mom took me to see the movie when i was 5 in 1984. can you say the same? i didn't think so ( if you b-day listing is accurate ). and, when i saw t2 in 1991 when i was 12. yeah t3 was a meh at best film. but just 'cause you were let down by ts doesn't give you the right to throw side ways insults at those who like the figs.

if your SO upset that the film sucked (to you), join the writers guild, write a better script, go to film school or whatever, get your ideas out there in the hopes that another terminator gets made just the way YOU want it to be.

no one's making you like the movie. no one's strapping you down with calipers on your eyelids in front of it. ok, you don't like it, so what?

is it a life altering event? does it threaten the meaning of your existence? are you so emotionally wrapped up in this movie being bad that it ruins your day? if you answer yes to any of these, a bad movie is the least of you problems.

now before you get so upset that you have to feel personally attacked by my response, think. what have i written here that can be construed as such? nothing.
