It's time to move away from the idea of Arnold playing the Terminator anyway. He's too old. It would be fun if he showed up in a different role, maybe even just a cameo as a guy who the machines forced to work on the project or something.

The only thing that I don't get about this project is that McG is directing?

"The "Terminator" will indeed be back -- but this time with a more kid-friendly rating.

As production starts today on "Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins," the next installment in the action franchise, producers at the Halcyon Co. say they aim to deliver a PG-13 movie to Warner Bros. for release on May 22, 2009.

The "Terminator" series is one of the highest-grossing R-rated franchises of all time, with the first three films having grossed more than $1.03 billion worldwide. But Halcyon producers thought it was time to broaden the upcoming fourth film's audience base, and they believe the PG-13 won't compromise the series' gritty vision."

Well they are going for a PG-13 rating. I will start my worrying now :(

so let me get this straight, it's one of the highest grossing franchises of all time and they want to change the rating now? wtf. if it's just the language it might not suffer too badly but if they change any carnage or killing then they really are idiots.

WOW! Now we know this is really gona suck. I'm willing to give it a chance, but I'm just going to come to the realization that James Cameron's T2 will always be the best Terminator film out there.

Although Pg-13 is a lot more forgiving than it used to be. I'd still prefer an R rating... but I think as long as they don't drop a lot of F-bombs and don't show any ******* they can still mangle people quite a bit and get it under the wire.

You didn't start worrying when they announced McG was directing? :lol

I was thinking Bale > McG, but now I don't know.:rotfl
Although I did enjoy "We Are Marshall", and was surprised at the end when it said "Directed by McG".

Agree, there are quite a few movies that push the PG13 pretty hard.
