This one cracks me up -- pose looks like that Bigfoot picture. :lol

Cool ass figure though. Give us a review.

Mini Review. Best figure I have ever seen. Seriously this has to be the figure of the year, the detail is astonishing. The BD is even better I think for the skull base (for future war battles) but also the darker brush tones. You can see the pistons, joints and wires are "oiled up", not pristine and there are a number of marked areas of battle damage detail, even the head has darker brush tones and shading which I think bring out the detail even more.

The figure is lighter than I anticipated but has better articulation as well. The head can articulate in just about any position, jaws open, etc as most of you know. No or little torso twisting as the entire fig has only a spine but the hips do move a bit as well. the fingers are a thing of beauty, the engineering that went into this is mind blowing. Definitely recommend picking up at least one BD Endo, just looks cooler. Hopefully SSC will release a few of these.

Weaponry is excellent as well. Be careful handling this guy, some parts are fragile, but overall it is simply a stunning piece. a must have IMO.

Which hands look better?

Guys, I'm sending off my 45 longslide and a hand to Hurricane to install a wireless led into the 45 so which hand look better? The padded "more film accurate" fingerless gloved hands or the HT T 800 BD gloved hands. I can always paint some studs on the padded gloves to make them look better too.

Thanks...

That is the $h!T!!!!!

You are the F'n man Paul!!!

Oh, and I would go with the non-battle damaged hand. Unless you can hide the battle damage. He had no BD in his Technoir get up, so the hands dont really match the figure.

Thanks Chase! You da man in my book bro. Someday I hope you and other collectors can have a collection like this too. Remember, you'll have it an entire lifetime to enjoy so it's worth the effort. :D

Yeah, I agree, I would rather go with more film accurate hands!

Also, shouldin't the HT Reese have come with cloth headband(Ala HT Rambo 2) instead of the cap and goggles? Then again, Hot Toys did give the BDed T-800 a gatling gun instead of an AR-18, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised...

In the early falshback Reese does have the head band, no hat or goggles.

But in the later scence with him and Sarah on the run, you see him with his hat and goggles.

I will try to find a screen cap of it.

Ah, thanks King Darkness.:D

I still prefer the headband instead of cap. For some reason it seems more realistic that they all have headbands or helmets instead of caps.

Ass kickin' caps King! Btw, you can make a headband in a minute, I did. But you can't make a hat and goggles... The other Resistance Soldiers wore hats and goggles too so if you're Army building, way to go...

Especially if a 6th JC is coming anytime soon...

Yeah, the best part about putting together a 6th scale JC is the simplicity of the uniform (at least in T2). All you need is OD Green fatigues, boots, Binoculars, pistol and web belt. Maybe a headset or something like that, rifle and jacket if you want him battle ready.

I'm really looking forward to putting one together. :rock

Damn Chase, what capture program are you using? How come I see so many screen caps that can't scale anamorphic frames correctly?

And P, definitely use Hudson's gloved hands instead of the BD ones. They are a little padded but look much better.

Well yeah. The images are vertically stretched because they are anamorphic on the DVD. Is there some kind of setting that will scale the aspect ratio correctly when you save them as images?

I have no idea.

I never use it so I know very little about it.

The problem is that tv(NTSC) pixels are rectangular while computer pixels are square. Before you save the image, try stretching the width to 111% (or compress the height to 89%) and that should correct for the distortion.
