If I recall correctly Sideshow said the light up feature would be in BOTH the exclusive and non-exclusive with the stipulation that it was based feasibility in terms of production. I could be wrong on that though. If I am correct, it is possible they decided to only put the light up function in the exclusive due to production issues.

For those who might not get the light up feature, how often were you hoping to use the feature? Once every year or two, if even that? I have a couple pieces which feature light up fixtures. Other than that one time to confirm it works, I never actually use it.

Yeah, you're right. Don't remember how to find the legit info, but I do remember reading that they said that the light up gauntlet would be for both the Reg and the Exc. They said it was because the exclusive was already listed as the switch out head for Death.

If they take that statement back and have just the Ex have the light up gauntlet then they'll have some pretty irate fans.

...of course I'm safe with my Ex pre-order.

I mean, the news about the light up gauntlet came out AFTER the statues were pre-ordered. Which means the orders were set prior to any info on the light up feature. So, the news doesnt really change much unless people cancelled the exclusive to get the regular.

True, but how do we know that Sideshow "added" the light-up feature to help stimulate sales for this dio? I mean Sideshow's record of 'sold-out' status is a joke. Regardless, somebody in the marketing dept. is really screwing-up on multiple fronts. Truly hope that Sideshow will go above & beyond on this dio, as stated, & make us believers once again.

just as i was thinking. i mean it was just fine without the light up feature (for those that ordered the reg from other sources just to save a couple of bucks) and now that it MAY not be in the reg version people will be upset. it wasn't there to begin with so who cares.

of course i've already got my EX version locked up so i'm good.

Those concerned or doubtful should call and confirm as well. Reg owners should be pleased.

What risingstar has said is 100% correct. Both the Exclusive AND Regular Version of the Thanos and Mistress Death Diorama will have an infinity gauntlet light-up feature.
