Sideshow has completely lost touch with its Marvel fanbase. Granted, they've produced a steady flow of decent to pretty good 2nd and 3rd tier characters, but nothing from any big names.

I've even began to question my 'inside' sources about supposed big name releases in the near future. Seriously guys, when the ^^^^ did the near future turn into almost a year. That's my reason for calling 'shennanigans'... you just aren't giving the fans what we want. That and questionable intel, at best.

Prove me wrong, Sideshow... because I'm calling your 'big announcement' bluff. Bowen has a stacked deck, so you'd better have at least a couple aces up your overly conservative, character rehashing sleeve. Game on, ^^^^^es!!!

By "big announcements," do you mean Marvel Month or SDCC or in what terms? It seems to me that SS has been keeping everything under tight wraps lately.

Well, their LoTR Dio was a pretty cool and a big announcement. However, their "April is Marvel Month" has been a big disappointment so far and when it comes to Marvel, I have been pretty disappointed for about the last year (BinBlack Spiderman is the exception). And, your right, Bowen has really stepped it up.

They have esp when you consider their early sculpts and paint work; though I still don't think either are on par with SS.

All I know for sure, is that 90% of their weekly offerings are now actually from other companies.

I've ordered more Bowen, Hot Toys, and Medicom stuff from the SS website then I have ordered SS Products.

In fact, this morning I cancled two more SS products I had preordered on their site and switched to two other company's items from SS's site.

Its just a little odd.

I basically agree with you here. I feel they had a damn good run going with the Cap PF, Thing PF, Red Skull PF, then Thor PF. After that though, literally nothing has maintained my interest. I mean I've preordered other marvel items, but when it came down to it I didn't really feel the need to own them. It seems like the things we Marvel fans want should be pretty apparent and within Sideshow's abilities, but we're just not getting the good stuff anymore. Like you say, I hope this is just a dry spell and they ambush us with some awesome stuff for SDCC.
