Dig both quite a bit.. funny how a simple shade of hair and swap of tshirt takes the zomb from 90's grunge to Danzig Misfits territory...
I'll probably stick with standard, make a custom band tshirt for him...

Sigh, I'm totally kicking myself for missing the 3AA membership this year. Hopefully I'll be able to get it next year.

I also hope the regular Rehel has something other than the threeA tee.

Most have said to leave it out in an airy, breezy spot... try fans etc.. keep it out of heat/windows if possible.. My Kyu's hair was sticky from the day I got him to the day I sold him.. nature of whatever beast it is they use at the Hatchery I guess.

That's why I like him so much!:)
Was thinking misfits/horror punk for some reason when I looked at him.

And well....I love the misfits.
:wink1:

Passing on the standard and going for the 3AA.

Hey guys i'm a complete ThreeA newb, only really took notice cos the MGS REX is coming from 3A, i did see a fighting JC figure a while back that looked awesome, so i've been looking through eBay, Facebook and their Wiki seeing whats it all about, i'm still a bit confused and hoped youd help me out.

This bambaland store is empty, is it the main place Threea sells from? Why is it empty?

I understand they do lots of variants, does the 3AA variants come to other retailers?

I'm mostly interested in their Adventure Kartel line and found that on eBay some of them are really scalping in prices, the one i'd want most is a original Fighting JC, next being a Shadow Tommy, is it impossible to find these at decent prices?

How does the company work? like how many products out per year from each line and so on, i've seen the current AK line on sideshow, so when is the next line-up expected?

How much articulation is there on the Heavy Brambles?

bambaland is the official online store for threeA and Ashley Wood. Their production runs are very limited even compared to other niche toy companies because, generally speaking, they only make what they can sell via preorder (and that number is predetermined, more or less prior to sale). Sales are announced periodically, as Ashley Wood and the design team at threeA see fit. You'll need to subscribe to their newsletter and/or keep tabs on the official blog to find out when the next figures will be put up for preorder. Preorders that are exclusive to the bambaland store stay up for a short period of time. Some times a few days, sometimes a matter of 24 hours depending on demand as there is a set number produced of a particular figure or figure set.

As for 3AA, that's a special membership club that's offered once per year (for a fee). In addition to a special member's kit (includes a fig, clothing item, and other little goodies), you also get the opportunity to purchase an even rarer variant of whatever exclusive fig is put up for PO at bambaland, as well as a 15% discount on purchases through the store.

You can check the BST thread at kidrobot for better than ebay prices, although once figures sell out, they tend to command 2 to 3x more than the original price even from other collectors due to the scarcity.

Best course, IMO, is to wait for new figures and buy them at MSRP. The prices at bambaland include shipping, so they are pretty good deal. AW has already confirmed there will be new AK figures announced this month. This week, Rehel will be the newest preorder exclusive to bambaland.

I'm not as sure what their retailer plans are. The most recent retailer exclusives have been delayed for kind of a while now...

I like the new T-Shirt, but I do wish his hair was a color. Not crazy about monochromatic stuff. Guess I may repaint his hair on my own.

Thanks Gunm

Can anyone shop at Bambaland, or is it only 3AA members?

Do you know what the delivery prices are internationally, like to the UK?

Cheers

Anyone can, but 3AA get's 15% off and access to some exclusives like that Black Metal looking Zomb.

Anyone can buy from bambaland. Just register for a free account.

Also, I believe the price includes shipping for most anywhere. However, there might be exceptions for very heavy and/or bulky items such as the Metal Gear Rex you expressed interest in...

Actually the opposite seems to be true. The free shipping always applies to large items but occasionally when you don't get free shipping it's for small items like some of the Portable releases or things like the bag of mini Berties (I think that didn't come with free shipping).

Shouldn't ThreeA have its own section on this forum by now? Their popularity is growing exponentially and so is the Legion's numbers. I would love to have multiple threads on here to sift thru. Would sure keep me on this board longer. Any thought?

Try eBay.

I think threads for individual release are fair game, if you want to start them. Otherwise, I don't mind this one.
