Got an original 27x40 T2 poster in the mail today, I was wondering if it's possible to find an original T1 poster without paying a small fortune? Anybody?

Arnold Schwarzenegger To Return For Next Terminator Movie

“It is back. It is moving forward. He [James Cameron] has some good ideas of how to continue with the franchise,” Schwarzenegger told Screen at the Cannes Film Festival, adding, “I will be in the movie.”

How good can these ideas be if Cameron isn't willing to direct the film himself? If this was really going to be worthwhile then Jim would want to be the man in charge and the guy who takes credit for it all.

As for Arnie, too much damage has been done to the T-800 character. Even if you accept the ageing thing, he's been played for laughs far too much now.

I agree. We've seen characters, villains in particular, "redeemed" after they became jokes but only after many years passed. TDK Two-Face was 13 years after BF Two-Face. RO Vader 11 years after ROTS Vader. Peter Jackson's Kong was more or less embraced 19 years after "King Kong Lives" and before that it was 14 years after KK vs Godzilla before audiences were ready to warm up to the 1976 version (though that iteration itself was a pretty big mixed bag.) But audiences have just seen too much bad associated with Arnold T-800, even "old" Arnold. I think if they ever want to revisit Terminator they need to give it another 10 years or so but but then Arnold will be in his 80's and Cameron in his 70's.

Of course after saying all that I know that *I* would be happy to revisit the franchise if they made a truly good film again but I can't imagine them suckering enough of the general public to give it another shot this soon after Genisys.

I somehow doubt it. There are still a few more worthwhile trips to the Titanic wreck before it crumbles in 5 years and these trips aren't cheap, y'know..

If this actually happens (which I still kinda doubt) and Cameron's idea has nothing to do with Genisys then we'll know he was probably bull***tting in his praise for that film.

Oh yes you know there's no way in hell that he'll produce "Terminator 4" that recognizes Genisys as the "proper T3" or however he put it. :lol

I'm actually quite surprised that he's planning on being a part of another Arnold film. EMPIRE magazine interviewed him a few years back when he said that if he ever could be bothered to revisit Terminator that he'd do a full reboot with more topical and relevant themes and technology.
