From what I'm reading, the collector set may have the extended but The standard release has leas features and is probably just theatrical.

I'm not sure if it was where I was seated ( to the left of the screen ) or if the projection was out of focus but to me the 3d was absolutely useless and I didn't notice it at all. Glad I got to see my second most favourite film of all time on a big screen finally though.

The 3D on mine was kinda foggy.
And some scenes did not have the 3D effect like close ups of the actors, were just 2D.

I saw half the movie without the glasses because of that

The 3D experience for me was excellent. Great depth through out most of the film, especially the future war and steel
Mill scenes.

When I saw Dr Strange, I had no 3D effect from my glasses at all so everything was fuzzy. I left the theater within the first 10 minutes and went to the person that hands out the glasses because they were the only one around and told them there was something wrong with the projection, they turned right around and got me a new pair of 3D glasses and said it's not the projector that was faulty, it was the glasses. I went back into the theater with another pair for my friend and it was fixed, everything was in 3D.

It might've been the glasses that were the problem for you guys, especially if you were the only ones that left to talk with the staff.

Did anyone watch this in Imax 3D? I made the assumption that it would be but to my surprise, I saw T2 3D in a smaller theater than when I saw it the first time back in 1991.

The best depth was when arnorld shoots the cop cars from the second floor. That was incredible. The fire from the mini gun looked like it was real in the theater.

All the scenes in the parking lot of cyberdyne were really great in 3D

I need to see aliens in 3D... those queen scenes would be out of this world.
Theres a lot of depth in those scenes. Specially the queen chasing ripley...

Not to mention watching them come out of the walls in the hive or when Hicks spots them all in the ceiling, game over man.

Part of me wishes I had the HT DX13 too, but I'm glad enough I was able to finally obtain the Enterbay BD T-800.

Very nice. I see you've weathered it up and got yourself a Stoney stand for the head?

Thanks man. Yeah I went ahead and used the tamiya weathering kit, It's more apparent in person than in photos. Yep that's a Stoney stand, I've got one for the mms238 as well.

Just came back from seein' T2 on a big screen.
Such a great film. Found myself crying by the end of it...

I found it very interesting how some moments were almost as if I'd never seen the movie before, they affected me in ways dozens of home viewings haven't.
