Re: The "All things Terminator" thread.

Khaleesi and Whats-his-face not wanting to come back for more is a good thing. Maybe they can make the 2nd film with the cast of TSCC.

In an alternate dimension where there is no pain and suffering, sure. :lol

My guess is that the franchise will lay dormant until (James) Cameron regain the rights in 2019, assuming he'll do anything with it.

As much as I'd love to see him get his hands on it again, at the very least as executive producer, I'm afraid he's consumed with putting out more ****** Avatar films for the rest of his life.

If there's ANY consolation (and potential good news) to come out of Camerons' lame obsession with those blue aliens is that one of Avatar 2's writers handpicked by Cameron is Josh Friedman- chief writer of TSCC. Maybe, just maybe when the rights revert, he could give it to Friedman since they're both on the same page. Maybe.

I'd be perfectly happy with Cameron handing Friedman the reins to future Terminator films.

Wow, I've never seen this- such a great panel and there are insights into the movies that you might not have known from the cast.

Thanks for posting.

The stuntman told some good stories. Didn't know who the hell that was at first. Looks younger than you'd imagine considering he's been doubling for Arnold since those peak 80s years.

I was glad someone asked about the rumour that originally Michael Biehn was considered to play the T-1000 - although it seems they knew nothing about that.

Same here. Josh Friedman created TSCC and I trust him with the franchise more than James Cameron. Someone needs to ask Friedman if his Avatar gig had anything to do with Cameron being aware of his Terminator work.

Yeah, seems like it never got past pre-production planning. It would have sucked though, since it would just tarnish Reese as a character.

Billy Idol?

I honestly can't imagine. :lol

I'm waiting for Terminators vs. Predators vs. Aliens (2019)

Throw in Batman and Superman (to save DC's franchise) and we have a winner..

I actually have source material for this movie as DC published Batman/Supes vs Alien/Predator. Was pretty fun read back in 90s. All they need is terminator now and we have a ballgame.

Didn't they do a Terminator vs. Robocop comic? Or maybe Batman vs. Terminator. I know I saw a Terminator vs. superhero comic paring once! The most ridiculous one was Green Lantern vs. Aliens.....

IIRC there was a Terminator comic line in the 90's by Now comics, that was pretty good. I may have it somewhere....

Re: The "All things Terminator" thread.

The Robocop Vs Terminator comics were actually pretty good! Superman Vs Terminator though.. yuck.
