I never took it as a nap. Imagine yourself being born INTO the apocalypse. Flying and stalking death everywhere.
How well did you sleep? Then you get to another time and everything's silent. Your body just shuts down, gives you what you need.

Imagine a very exhausting day...times a hundred.
True but considering he doesn't know how much time he has to find Sarah before the Terminator does you'd think he'd be a bit more panicked at having fallen asleep.

If everything goes well, Kyle will have a nice stand later.
Printed this decal transfer sheet with name and logo, properly measured.
Varnish layer later, drying and then...hope it works and water slide is enabled!

Ok, on the have side: the process actually creates a functional decal:

On the need side: non-translucent paint would've been nice, cause the fully transparent transfer paper makes this:

Brush it off...onto V2.

Actually getting there.
Size-problems aside (but only on the nameplate. Standplate is spot on), there's only one thing to solve:

the black bleeding into the red.
IF and I believe that to be a rather small if (despite me writing it in caps :lol ) the problem there is the CMYK code
and it therefor just douses the decal in black, giving it a more mellow CMYK black code, should solve it.

And if it does, then it should be near indistinguishable from an HT stand.

So the 4 are now done with a CMYK technique. For those unfamiliar:
C - Cyan
M - Magenta
Y - Yellow
K - Keycolor (Black)

The 2 on the left got a slight hint to the violet, meaning magenta here and the 2 on the right are a neutral black, with a higher keycount.
Because the 2 on the right got the lower keycount and a bit more magenta, the black doesn't bleed as much anymore and the colorization is well below 300%.
I did all channels on 100, which is a noob error, cause you douse the paper in color.
Media designer 101: stay below 300 is what I just learned.

So here are those:

But I was curious and tried the hint of yellow (which seems to fit the stand as that as a yellowish tint too) and low and behold:

No more bleed. If everything goes well: Kyle has his stand tonight! :yess:

I ended up buying the Tech Noir one. Couldn't really swing both right now and someone bought the Police Station one yesterday so I said **** it and went for the Tech Noir. It's a nifty little dio by the looks of it - condenses down some of the most recognizable features seen in the movie - I noticed that the corrugated metal parts should be going on a horizontal axis per the movie and not vertically as he has it but no biggie, one gets the idea.
