I have the entire line from beginning to end, I bought the four babysitters, even to the point of getting two of the International ones from a French dealer because they didn't admit that they were going to carry her at the time and I got a discount for getting two. I have all the Tactical Officers, all of the Doctors and Businessmen and display them happily. I hung with SSC even as they punted the line and made it non profitable. The fact they aren't even offering one Dead 1/6 as a Spooktacular exclusive this year bothers me more than all the other screw-ups.

The smart thing would have been to shrink the line to a one a year thing and we'd still be salivating. To kill the line already when there is so much they teased and so much left to do really bugs me.

They did the same though, with every other 1:6 line so I'm not at all surprised. :lol

I wish they'd do more military zombies. Those are the coolest ones IMO. I got my Subject 805 today and he rocks! Only issue is, his dark green clothing (which looked browner in pics) doesn't have such a good contrast with my Street Prophet. Hence... my signature.

Ahem, all of that aside, people would totally buy if good figures were put out. Even the Harbinger sold well (at least the exclusive did), and he wasn't even one of the more elaborate designs. Military, janitors, maybe a half-shirtless guy with diseased crap growing out of his shoulder... if they had good ideas, we'd get 'em. Aaaaaand if they controlled themselves with releasing four variants of every character.

Gimme fuel, gimme fire
Gimme that which I desire..............BOOM !!!

how about a dead fed-ex or ups delivery figure..............our choice...........depending on who ships cheaper......:monkey3

That would be a great idea, but they're have to create their own mailing comany. Copy rights you know, aren't cheap and I don't think any company would want to know as Zombie delivery men.

I'll be changing my sig soon, too (as I do with most newly-bought figures I can't get enough of). Speaking of which, here are some shots of the Dead I bought last week!

I think when it comes back this is how it will be. Yes, I do think it will come back.

Yet if it does, the utter lameness of historic figures under the contemporary moniker won't be lost on most of us who've collected all or the majority of it. They should continue with The Dead as contemporary releases and if they're that adamant about releasing Abe Lincolns, Nazis and knights as zombies, create another line or license out Max Brooks' graphic novel and create from that. :monkey1

Hey guys I've gotten into the Dead slowly, I own a few regular and ex versions of the 1/6th line,

I recently picked PZ PF Ex and the Busts.

Hoping that the 1/6th line continues.

just pulled my specimens out of (cold) storage :wink1: for the holiday.

these guys look great still, even if there are a bit small. Hope sideshow does some more during spooktacular! :clap
