I really don't get what anyone's issue is with the ASM2 so far? The level of acting in the ASM is far superior and more convincing than that of the Raimi movies.
The costumes etc, to me are much more believable and that's ultimately what I want when I see a comic book movie translated on the big screen. If I wanted it to be comic book like I watch watch a cartoon. People want their movies to be believable as if it could possibly happen.

I just hope they stick with the darker undertones of the first ASM, rather than being all cheesy like the Raimi films.

I think they've changed approach. They seem to be going lighter. Hopefully they keep the drama and emotion.

I don't mind a bit of banter with the enemies, because that's what Spider-man is all about! But ultimately it needs to have an element of darkness to make it believable.

As long as Andrew Garfield dones't start doing a lame dance down the street with a ridiculous emo haircut we should be fine.

Dark, dark, dark! Just turn down the brightness on your TV, job done!

Why does everything have to be dark? Grounded in reality relative to ours, okay, I get that, makes it more fantastical that this 'could' actually happen (ish)

but this darkness talk, I don't get it

This **** right here has me so pumped up. i donnt care how much you hate this new franchise your *** is gonna be in a seat after watching this. Doesnt even give much away.

Does anyone know what the films runtime is going to be? I reckon 2hrs 30 Easily!!!

I am a home theater 3D nut case.

I am very excited about the 3D visuals in this because him swinging during those daylight scenes just looks specacular and will translate to 3D in amazing ways that the darker first one could never achieve. His swinging looks beyond incredible when it's normal speed, when he is swinging really fast it loses some of the coolness though.

The actual story, lets see. :lol

They really amped up the hyper action where his web stops cars just millimeters away from people's faces. :lol

Action scenes look good in the final trailer. I was most impressed with the fight choreography for ASM among all the SM movies, glad to see they're building on that. I'm not 100% sold on the rest of the movie though, but I'll go see this opening weekend for sure.

Its the little touches I like. The spread shot he does with the web is awesome. Always loved seeing Spidey use his webs for something beside swinging. The Rhino mech looks waaaay better like that. Thats a pretty hardcore preview though and shows alot, kinda wishing I'd skipped it now.

It wont matter...everyone on this thread who hates this or has something to say will give Sony their Box Office money

The web swinging is straight outta the video games in the best way possible. The way he can defy gravity and do a crazy 360 turn or flip mid-air, it's awesome.

I caved.. :lol

The Rhino mech looks alright there huh! I've been looking forward to this one - & always liked Garfield, but poking fun at these films as details emerge is far too enjoyable to give up. I just can't look at Foxx like that & keep a straight face. :lol
