Wow, FX is playing Spider-Man 2 (2004) on TV right now and it's the first time I've watched any of it in quite a few years. I saw the scene where Spidey first fights Doc Ock in the bank and outside and if I didn't know better I'd think I was watching a Michael Bay movie. No less than five bimbo-ish chicks are seen with gratuitous shots showing them freaking out at the mayhem in either super tight sweaters or miniskirts.

yeah I always hated that Raimi did that. The worst one was spiderman 3 (Again) the amount of hot chicks in that movie was ridiculous

Man, that would be pretty creepy to in live action. That would scare away all the kiddies :lol

Anybody remember the old toy biz man spider figure? They had two weird figures. One of venom in mid transformation with Eddie inside his mouth and man spider. Also the movie earth vs spider is pretty much what I'd imagine that arc going like. There's no way Sony would pull that off. It'd be to damn scary .

I think the biggest problem is having a hairy creature. having Peter parker with 3 arms is fine but having these hairy monster would freak everyone out.

It would be like The Fly but with hair :lol

I owned both of those. Didn’t they make a similar Carnage figure later on?

I got a question for those that have seen this flick

My 4 year old son really wants to see this in the theater but I am concerned it will be too loud and may scare the crap out of him (goblin). He has seen spiderman, man of steel ect.at home, but theaters are different . Is this move alright for younger kids or does it really push the rating limits?

If he saw MOS I doubt anything would scare him maybe the goblin but he's not in it for long.

Thanks for the feedback

He didnt like when jor el and Lara die (mommy and daddy) and they have to send their baby off I to space. Heavy stuff for a fragile little mind. I had to answer a lot of kid questions and make up some stuff. Whenever we watch it, I fast forward that, but the villains zod and faora didn't look scary. Not worried about electro just goblin

Oh no just by that you have to be careful with this film then.

They were probably on Sam Raimi's casting couch.

I don't think the villains will be scary but there is a scene or two which are quite sad.

hell yea, that's my kind of spider-man movie. this new series is lacking tight sweaters and skirts, it's a major bummer.

There was a young boy near me in the cinema and he seemed very upset at Electro's main scene in Times Square. It was very loud and it can get quite aggressive in terms of action.

well, a 70 out of 100 is a 7/10, which is a D in most schools, and just barely passing.

And I'd say Avengers is either ALOT better than a 2nd rate comic book film, or TDK is somewhere around a 5th rate comic book film. one or the other.

So far, I'd say Avengers got it right insofar as what a comic book film NEEDS to be to be wildly sucsessful. I'd say the Box office numbers support that.

Not saying Watchmen wasn't good. Not even saying that Avengers was better. I'd put them on-par with each other, and expect long time film buffs to put watchmen slightly higher.

Your spelling is really coming along Lerath.
