Miley and Justin are worth about $150 million each if I'm not mistaken.

And my dad complained I made him take me to see Wild Wild West...

From what I've seen the critic reviews place in in the 50% range but user review across various sites place in around the 80% range.
While Critics don't seem to like it, Audiences do.

over the last 6+months I've been reading more and more where Critics in general are growing very tired of the superhero genre as a whole.
Many are getting frustrated it's actually ramping up rather than beginning to fade away.

I enjoy cbm across the entire spectrum of quality.

There's gold to be mined even from the bad ones.

Just think of all the lolz we've had from picking apart and complaining about MOS/TDKR/ASM/XMWO, you know, all the none MCU properties . :lol

:chase

Ok fine, IM3. :lol

My Imax ticket is for tonight 7pm. :yess:

Not going to lie, very excited.

But Godzilla is really the one that's got me frothing at the mouth.

"While an improvement over its 2012 predecessor, director Marc Webb's follow-up is ... camp without conviction; a Batman & Robin-style scenery chewer in a Batman Begins era." https://www.theverge.com/2014/4/30/5666786/the-amazing-spider-man-2-review

Ouch. :lol

Though I'm often able to enjoy cbm's that are shunned by critics.

The problem with this statement is that Spider-Man is not Batman. Never has been. So a Batman Begins like movie would not fit. Even in some of the darker Spidey stories in comics, there is still a humor and a lightness about the book. I am still excited to see this. It cannot be worse than SM3.

see thats the problem now we all pick apart films everyone wants to be a critic everyone wants something different from movie no one is 100% satisfied.

SM3 is pretty bad overall isn't it. :lol

Even the cgi, other than Sandman, was pretty bad in that movie.

Go watch the scene of the police truck sliding on the ground on its side once more, ouch. :lol

Oh I'm excited. Spidey is my favorite comic character. And the movie at least looks fun.

Yup,

I know pretty much what i'm walking into tonight, and as long as its not some crazy upper middle class depressed white american kid with an assault rifle and grenade I'm going to have fun

Im sure audiences will love this one. Its a really fun movie. This whole batman and robin thing is stupid imo. I dont get that comparison I dont even see it. It feels like a spiderman film. Well i guess im gonna view it properly tomorrow and give my final thoughts.

The guys in this thread persuaded me to let go of my resentment about the rebooted universe, so there's that. However that still leaves what I think was some poor pacing and not particularly well developed villains (as far as their character's and motivations). I mean the whole Harry thing, its just not very effective when it all has to go down in just one film (as opposed to the 3 of Raimi's films) I also don't think Electro was as conducive to a good a battle sequence as other villains have been in the past.
