With the red looking orange, the basketball effect is too in your face! Being a fan of the suit in the beginning, I kinda hate it now. They should have just put a Spalding logo on the side of the mask and made some money off of advertising.

im excited for this film, i think andrew garfield is a perfect peter parker.. i hated tobey mcguire as spiderman

I still don't get how people could possibly complain about the new Spiderman suit when:

Batman's NEVER looked exactly like the source material (even more altered from it than the new spiderman outfit is from its material)

Wolverine NEVER put a mask on...and wasn't 5ft 3

The X Men outfits were FAR from the source material

Thor barely wore a helment in his movie

screw it. the list goes on with changes, and my grammar sucks. Still if you point out my $htty grammar, I love u anyway (no homosexual)

i actually am looking forward to this more than Tobey spiderman. i just couldn't connect wit all those cgi effects , i hope this is really more darker realistic spidey movie.and yes no more goblin, hes the least fav spidey villain movie, tobeys spidey had more of a cartoonish feel to it, though i somwat njoyed the second installment more than others. i think its nice they tried something different with the costume, the only place where the tobey spiderman costumes looks good are in CGI and posters, in real life i think it would look stupid just they way the hot toys spiderman costume looks like .

Spider-man's costume is like Superman's. It is in the upper echelon of being iconic where you can't ____ with it.

I don't think the Raimi films hold up very well. At least to me. I like them, but something is missing in them. Too many WTF raimi moments for me. I've never seen 500 days of summer, but Marc Webb has been getting raves so we'll see.

All is know that that this SM is supposed to be loosely based of off USM ( not a bad thing at all) Less CGI, more gritty, more emotional story. So my hopes are high enough.

Suit don't bother me. It's different, don't care. Knew it would be very different. I'm up for different. Yeah it's weird looking right now but i dig it, we'll see.

the more pic i see, the more i feel its closer to a real live action movie than a cg infested cartoon fest,,if the lead hero is going to be in cgi in almost 90% of action scenes then why make a movie at all, make a 3d animation film, andrews body type too seems more suited for a spidey like hero, nimble, athletic looking, i hope they do show some live acrobatic action instead of cgi, the ones we always dreamed we would see when a spidey movie was made one day

doesnt any one wish when one see a tony jaas movie or some other martial arts movie, i wish i could see stunts like that with some one in spidey or captain americas costumes,with andys physique they could easily slip a asian martial arts experts into a stunt doubles roles

I don't understand how this suit looks more like he made it himself than the Raimi suit. Aside from the raised webbing, Tobey's suit was just spandex.

This new suit has way more detail and texture, and appears to be made out of rubber. Unless he does actually make it out of basketballs. But that would still be expensive.

EDIT: I'm not saying I don't like it. If you're going to reboot I like that it's significantly different. I just think this suit looks more complex.
