Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

I think for me this might be my second.

First is TDKR cause I love Catwoman and Anne and it's like the "finale" of the Nolan's films.
Second is this one because it's a new spin on the series and I love Emma Stone and the Gwen Stacy character.
Third is Avengers.

We're in for one heck of a summer!! :rock

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

Just read that the select few in ATL got back from their 'mission.' They tagged some walls with huge spider symbols like those we saw spray painted in the trailer. Hoping to get more details soon! :rock

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

I like the latest trailer. The movie itself has all the chances to t/o very good.
Tho still really don't like desings for both Spidey and Lizard.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

The international trailer is pretty cool. I like the part where you see him climbing up the wall (ala SM1) and where you see him put on his mask at the end of the fight with NYPD.

From SuperHeroHype.com

This trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man video game has been floating around for a while, but you can now check out the HD version below. You can also check out a new screenshot underneath.

Created as an epilogue story occurring entirely after the events of the movie, the game features the return of free-roaming web-slinging all over the city and evolutionary improvements to navigation and combat, as the newly anointed Spider-Man is plunged into an all-new storyline charged with protecting Manhattan from a variety of criminals.

The Amazing Spider-Man is in development at veteran game studio Beenox, and features an original narrative crafted by Hollywood writer Seamus Kevin Fahey (episodes of "Spartacus: Gods of the Arena" and the re-imagined "Battlestar Galactica") that continues young Peter Parker's adventures following the events of the new film. Using the game's new Web Rush mechanic allows players to pull off a vast array of moves never before possible. With a story that takes players through many areas all over (and under) Manhattan, fans will feel what it's truly like to be a Super Hero, as they experience the cinematic adrenaline rush of web-swinging through the city and fighting crime using Spider-Man's spectacular acrobatic moves and attacks.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

I don't think the game play 'wows' me only because we've seen this thing quite a few times in the Spider-Man video game franchise, BUT one of the things I do like is the idea that this takes place AFTER the events in the movie....so we might be in for a treat. Who knows.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

The only Spidey-game I like so far is "Web of Shadows" and I can't see how this "based on the summer movie" crap gonna beat it.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

Always up for a Spiderman game! Especially since they've perfected web swinging in the last few. Can spend a solid chunk of time just swinging around the city...

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

Update for the viral: More tagging was done last night in the streets of LA and Denver. And I expect to see the same tonight in Phoenix and NYC.

Good news is 42E confirmed more virals in the upcoming months, so the fun is just getting started. :rock

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

Looks good, do like its after the movie, but as others have said: we've seen this before. Time will tell if this is a rush job or quality attempt

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

I was literally getting ready to post that. :lol Was the thread all the way back on page three???

And I'd like to add that the clip was discovered via the viral. :lecture

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

Thanks, guys. Ok, so, what is the viral campaign? Where is it and how are they doing it? I am totally in the dark as to that aspect of the movie. Thanks

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

Bruce Campbell was better.
