Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

There's something wrong with people. I've never read a single Punisher comic in my life, and I could tell a better Punisher story then these idiots.

But, it's a story that's been done a thousand times. But even then, so what?

War Zone was pretty funny though. :lol

It really is just totally inept. They could've given Circle of Blood a treatment and BAM! Instant blockbuster!

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

I enjoyed it, Hated Travoltas hair though :lol

I liked what both 2004 and War Zone were going for, they had very different feels, but both missed the mark for me. I would be surprised (but would never rule it out) if they tried another Punisher origin, but if they did, I'd like to see them use more of the Year One material.

I know it's come up a lot in multiple threads, but if any movie channel gave it some effort and money, they could turn the MAX series into a fantastic show.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

It was decent up until the skull explosion at the end. Warzone was great until the recruitment/political statement scene. Each movie had some stupid aspect that kinda ruined it. :(

I hated The Russian. I wasn't a fan of his character in the books, but at least his goofiness fit the Ennis / Dillon world better than the real world. On screen, I thought he was just way too cartoony.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

Ah Tmnt. What's weird is that with every movie that came out the quality of the suits and stuff went down. Tmnt the first one was by far the best movie I've ever seen growing up. I was shocked how real the turtles looked. But back to spidey.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

They were great for their time, even today they have that gritty real-world looks to the them.

I wonder how (crappy) Lizard would look if he wasn't CGI?

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

I Loved P. Warzone, it was really fun, it was totally ridiculous but Ive never had so much fun at the movie theater, audience was laughing, it was fast, it was violent, it was brutal, it was amazing, it was super fun, i loved it, I Loved the guy playing the Punisher, he was amazing for me too, I really really loved his version of the Punisher, the movie had its little moments that sucked, but overall I really loved the movie

PWZ had more and better violence/gore than F13 remake that same year. :lol

So, did you love the movie?

:lol

:lol

yeah sometimes I think about that, Sometimes I wish action movies had a little more gore, i mean, in real life violent acts are going to look gory, I kinda wish some action movies looked like Saw for example, I mean the gore, or the violence, is one thing I liked about Kick Ass, it wasn't too gory but it was going in the right direction,

I actually really enjoyed that scene. To each his own, I guess. :huh

You mean like actually seeing people who get shot bleed? :wink1:

Lets start by putting some blood on Wolverine's claws when he's stabbing people :lol.

:tap...seriously

I'm kind of thinking Wolverine needs to be re-cast due to Jackmans increasing age (even though it won't happen). It would be nice to have someone play Wolverine who has a background in martial arts (at least a little...). I really hate how all he did in the X men movies and origins was swing his arms around
