Where do they get this estimated $125 million? Not saying it won't happen but its kinda arrogant if this is coming from Sony. It should have two or three clear weeks to make alot of money before TDKR is released. But after that things will slow down. Still hoping it can break the $900 million mark over the long run.

She looked great at the London premier although her dress sense is alittle quirky.

I think Sony feels they have something to prove (and in many ways they do with their recent stock share decline, etc.), but they need not worry about this franchise. This will be their 'baby,' much like the original trilogy was. And some may argue, that of all of the character franchise rights to hold, this is the one to have.

But to answer your question, I have no idea how companies extrapolate this numbers the way they do because I find it hard to believe that pre-sales are an accurate indicator, if that indeed is a factor is this particular equation. This movie will be big. That's all that's a concern. :lol

this movie will make over $125 million easily it comes out on a tuesday which is odd .

I just came back from the premier of The Amazing Spider-Man & this film does not disappoint.

Andrew Garfield's spidey is witty,fun & smart to watch on the big screen. The pacing of the film was nicely done, you never really get a dull moment even though they are going back the same old slightly different origin story.

This film has totally taken away any of the bad taste left by Spider-Man 3. Seriously, just give it a chance & go watch it.

You won't regret it.
