If you look at some of the other footage, you'll see he actually has a belt, not sure if it's a different costume or if he gets it as part of the story, but he carries web cartridges on it. you can see it here.

pic isn't showing up. but i went ahead an searched and you are right there is a belt. now that has me wondering me wondering if it will pop up in the movie at some point or if it's just for the game
1. Direct sequel to the movie BEFORE the movie release
2. Laughable plot (not entirely but overally)
3. Standard monotonous console gameplay (SEGA style)
4. Combat system is a totall AA&AC ripoff with some bad animation
5. Generally awful camera angles

I'm actually enjoying the game.
One of the things I'm worried about is that whenever you have a game like this where its openworld, they always pay more attention to creating the streets, buildings, characters, but then leave out the story.
I'm still pretty early in the game but so far its cinematic so that's a big plus for me.

Played the intro only, and I did like the character models of Spiderman and Stacey a lot - the latter doesn't look like the actress, but you can tell its her
The opening does totally reveal ending of movie, so play at your own risk; according to game sky is the only needed to swing around
So far I've sinked a few hours into it & Im enjoying myself quite a bit.
But there are some things which I wish could be better"
-combat is identical to Batman Arkham series, not exactly a bad thing, but its not as responsive. Sometimes when you press dodge, it doesnt really register cos I was still mashing my attack & the animation doesnt instantly change to dodge.
-stealth combat is also similar but you actually have an area of effectiveness to show whether you could do a stealth take down.
-Web rush is fun and a very important tool to get around fast and for boss fights
-web swinging is fun...but you cant do any tricks like you could in Spider-Man 2, which was one of my fav aspects of the game. Instead you can only web rush here n there.
-Open world is a good thing, lots of comic collectibles & photos to take.
-side missions are boring, the same as Spider-Man 2, save someone from getting mugged, car chase, send someone to the hospital. And I heard that you could actually complete all the side missions & be left with nothing to do
-Lots of hidden costumes! So far, I've only found the Scarlet Spider 2012 version, which doesnt look that great. Do a search on youtube if you want to know what are the other costumes.
-Damaged costumes after fights is a pretty nice touch & spidey can end up looking really "torn"
-Giant Boss fights can be fun & frustrating at the same time.
-Story continues right after the movie and is really kinda ridiculous. Especially at certain parts of the game.
Like Spidey converse with Gwen thru a webcam thingy, and Gwen openly says Peter/Pete you gotta hurry up and save us blah blah...right in front of other scientist that are in the same room as her. Another time spidey calls gwen and Alistar Smythe picks up the phone, "Oh, I didnt know you are that close to Gwen"
Overall, a pretty fun game, I would give it a 7/10.
Rented it and loving it so far. very impressed for a movie game. first thing to do though is when you are in parkers apartment go to the closet and take off that silly belt.
