This may be old news to many but I was thinking about the latest "vs" pieces and SS has managed to place a character in some of the pieces in a "I've just slipped on a banana peel" type of pose...

Gollum from the "Frodo vs Gollum"piece

Obi Wan from the "Anakin vs Obi-Wan" piece

Gandalf from the "Saruman vs Gandalf" piece

Coincidental or is it some type of subliminal message from Sideshow?...

Hmmm... :monkey1

I guess the powers that be at SS think an off balance sculpt equals dynamic. Not really my taste. I'm worried about that shadowy Indiana Jones PF image. Hopefully Dr. Jones avoids the banana peel.

The funny thing is, alone you don't notice it, but looking at them all . . . :rotfl

It's one of those cases when a clever artist's trick is suddenly exposed as being much simpler than it seems. Very good eye dude!

I'll never look at these the same way again . . . :lol

The Gandalf one is the most obvious. I wouldn't say it looks like Gollum is slipping much at all.

Isn't Gollum about to fall into the fires of mount doom? If anything its the SW one that doesn't look like anyones slipping...

He's about to fall, but it doesn't look like he's slipping, or off balance to me. Depending on the angle, Obi-wan does look like he's going to fall backward, but again not really slipping like Gandalf.
