Like the guy who owns AE, a lot of people will have no theater to go to once Regal Cinemas closes.

The other chains will likely divest themselves of a great deal of real estate to stay solvent too.

Studios are waiting to make their theater money, pushing into next year, but a lot of theaters just won't even exist by then. They must be calculating the loss from Regal closing. No more 1 billion openings, that's for sure.

I guess Regal is a fairly large chain. I had to check online. They only have two locations in Michigan. I hadn't even heard of them until they announced their closing.

He still looked good in that film.

I used to use Regal a lot when I lived on the West coast, but since moving east I've only seen a bunch of AMCs and Emagines. There is a Regal here, but it's about half an hour away.

I'm going to see ESB at an Emagine this weekend, which'll be my first time seeing it in theaters. I'm excited. :) Hopefully someday I can see Batman 89 too, but the last time it played at a little theater here years ago I was sick.

I honestly miss the movies but not as much as I thought. Which is weird cause I love superhero movies and watching films but this year I hadn?t noticed I haven?t been in a while

I think I missed it less because there is now so much content you can watch at home via streaming.

I am missing the theater. My kids are finally old enough to love and anticipate the films I love.

Sharing that experience is pretty awesome.
