Bullet proof was there from the go, so yes!
He just wore it under /incorporated into stealth. There was better ways to convey that.

And I like the starting out cobbled to together, making it up as goes pulp noir, Batman, it's my favorite.
Yet the overcompensating exterior flashy heavy armored chest and poldrons is just embarrassing (ridiculously on the nose knight)
More befitting ...

Like they just painted a Mandalorian armor, gadget loaded gauntlets, and jump suit underneath, all black, it's the laziest, pedestrian, least creative approach.
And then give him a vintage muscle car, cause that's so new cutting-edge (Yeah when you're the first to do it, not the last)
And the horrible impesination wanabe Deniro gabagooling crime boss , cause nobodies seen that.

Yep it's Batman so he should always have a memorable vehicle. I like the car in the trailers and the bike should get him to some areas the car won't be able to go.

People are overanalyzing this thing. Who cares what he looks like, he's going to get a brand new costume in the sequel anyways.

There are things I love about the current costume, like the boots, the slightly baggy military style pants, and the utility belt looks practical and real. It actually looks like a cop's belt with pouches, handcuffs, and even a small flashlight. He's got a freaking flashlight. I also like the gun holster on the leg, reminds me of Mad Max.

I don't care for the mask, collar, chest piece, and midsection design. I wish it was less busy. I like his car too. It's a good look for a young Batman.
