AND the PT. Double Whammy there. But makes sense.
With NWH we had 25 minutes just of trailers before the movie so I hear you when you add 30 minutes of trailers and other commercials then a 3 hour movie on top of that it can get irritating.
 
Yep. Bond was like that. We had 10 trailers it seemed, then a 2:45 movie. Just too much.

I suppose if the movie was great all the way through -- like IW -- I don't mind but that rarely happens.

Isn't this true: the longer the running time, the worse the Star Wars movie? Aren't ANH and ESB the shortest?

It might be because I'm getting older however I think with any film over 150 minutes, plus an additional 20 minutes for adverts/trailers - there should be an interval half way through. :lol Works for theaters although I understand cinemas want to fit in as many shows as possible.
 
the modern bond movies are le boring... is just boring. i cant imagine a batman movie being boring. i just cant imagine it
