In my experience, be funny, be yourself, be kind (not manipulative 'nice' guy -- just a decent human being), look after yourself and be present. Oh yeah, don't treat women like prizes or use the word 'chad' LOL

Not everyone is going to look like Henry Cavill, and not everyone has the time or money to train to their maximum potential, fine. But don't let yourself go and wonder why women pass you by. Never understood that mentality. Life is give and take, and requires effort.

Space German Monarchists Vs. Space Democrats. It's based on a light novel series. Lots of talking and space "naval" battles. I'm not the biggest fan of German Autocracy, but it's really worth a shot. There's a reboot with better visuals but it's not as good and it's not over yet. It's got a great theme song though.

I still remember my first fight. The crowd hooting and screaming, the confusion. The adorable ring girl in booty shorts smiling up at me as she handed me a trophy, while I was too dazed with adrenaline to barely register the moment. The corner-man screaming and cheering when I recovered from a terrible first round when I was on the ropes.

16-year old me would not have believed it possible.

It took *years* and it took actual pain and real fear to get to that moment. It took looking dumb and doubting my capabilities. But once you get there, there is no going back. You see what's actually possible and you're never the same. You'll be sad, you'll suffer losses of all kinds, you'll fail, but never again will you be able to just give up, because the realm of possibility goes from daydreams to reality -- whatever that is for you. You have agency. I believe this is true in all things. You don't do this to compare yourself to others. I've trained with Olympian level athletes and comparing myself to them would be unrealistic. You do it to see what you really are.

It's really about what you want from life and what your goals are. The thing that many miss is that they set something very material, treat it as a higher ideal, and sacrifice the good for the great they'll never be able to get. That's where the problem arises.

All cards on the table I'm not a big anime fan. They have a certain flair that you need to get into from the start to really be comfortable with. I've not watched a lot. The usual from the 00s era (Bebop, Eva, Fullmetal '03), some random stuff like Violet Evergarden, and I have Gankutsuou and Ergo Proxy on my list. Maybe try Monster (2004) or Texhnolyze? They're an acquired taste, but they're interesting.

I don't watch much these days, I don't really have the time. I keep up with one or two shows, have another on the backburner and that's more or less it. I still want to finish Six Feet Under but that's a show that requires the right emotional framework, so I visit it only so often.
