Captain Jack Rackham. Maybe my favourite character on that show.
I loved the entire cast if I'm being honest. Black Sails was definitely one of the most underrated shows of the last decade and it sits comfortably in my Top 10. Some great characters and writing.

Toby Stephens is in my shortlist for MCU Doom, and he'd nail it, but I'm not holding my breath.

Indeed. I could watch that show just for the scenery - the natural beauty of the Island and the sea - even if the story and characters weren't as engrossing as they are.

I've watched it twice through. Second viewing was great because I had forgotten a whole bunch of things that happened and got to be surprised all over again.

I like fully formed Batman, but I also like a Batman trying to figure things out. Had a little of that in TDK with him having a problem at the beginning of not being able to see the wall and needs to turn his head. There's something male about finding the right tool or upgrading a tool to accomplish a task - like Bond, M:I, etc.

I think The Batman will be better than Flash and Batgirl, but Keaton Batman will look cooler and make a better figure than Battison. Therefore, I will not get any merchandise from The Batman, and instead wait for the Keaton merch. I've made my choice.

*I might change my mind if Battison and Riddler kick so much *** that they become must haves, but I doubt it.

Exactly. It had a great atmosphere. The real sets instead of green screen gave it a proper presence. It's why all the recent blockbusters feel weightless; because they are. But beyond that it had truly great writing as well.

I've never watched a show twice, too much of a time commitment. But I've been tempted.
