Seeing complaints saying it’s to dark and not as funny. Lol so sad mcu made us think every superhero movie has to be a happy funny movie.

Too long was always the worst part of this movie. It will hurt it more than anything else.

If this got down to 2 hrs or even 2:20, people would be praising it as THE new Batman and it might even win an Oscar for Best Eye Make-Up.

But his review was still positive. It just didn’t get the “awesometacular,” or “will buy on Blu-Ray.”

I was a bit surprised Jeremy didn’t rate it higher than he did, given some of the scores it’s getting from other reviewers, but it definitely didn’t sound like he disliked it either. Sounded like his main issue with it, had to do with a creative decision they made regarding Bruce Wayne/Batman’s characterization. That seemed like a subjective criticism, but he also said that the world of Gotham that they created for the movie is one that he would like to revisit.
