Actually i’m not comprehending what you meant lol

I meant, Bruce was a mask that Batman hid behind -- the useless rich elitist girl-chaser, so no one would suspect he's Batman. Nolan went with that angle. I don;t know if that is the more popular comic angle or if the humanitarian Bruce Wayne (like George Clooney) is the more popular Bruce.

Bvs had an epic premise but here is my problem with it

lex Luther. What a joke. The greatest superhero is thwarted by some fidgety weirdo nerd.

Batman vs Superman yet they only fight once. In a very dull fight I might add.

doomsday. Wtf were they thinking? Idk if this was a Snyder decision or a WB one but why the hell would you bring in doomsday and then have him kill Superman in the second Superman film? Out of all the characters they could have teamed up against. You choose doomsday? Then try to recreate arguably the most impactful Superman comic but with no impact .

Martha doesn’t bother me but what bothers me is how Batman suddenly drops his silly vendetta and wants to save his mom cause they have the same name. Sheesh what if his moms name was Bernice? Was he just going to say “to bad” and stab him?

the Justice league reveal. That was so damn lazy.

you know honestly I could go on but like I said I had high hopes for the film and I loved the affleck suit and how he acted . But I can’t get behind him being in gotham for 20 plus years and Superman only being active for 2. Also I can’t see the cringe tat joker being a threat to affleck whatsoever.

i forgave man of steel but bvs crushed my hopes for a good universe with dc.
But Riddler was also a fidgety weirdo nerd lol

For TB I think the philanthropist version would anger Riddler more than the spoiled arrogant version because Riddler would hate witnessing Bruce trying to clear the Wayne name thru humanitarian acts of kindness.

I agree. Which is why I said I liked your take. Are you drinking again?

Then, I moved ahead in my thought, thinking where does Bruce go if he's already a hero... and thought maybe the hero doesn't work for where Reeves wants Bruce to be in the next film.

I have to admit to this too. Capes!!!! :slap
So many times he's running or fighting and you kinda wince because that cape is nearly always snagging. Or even just one bad guy grabs it from behind and pulls him over backwards.

Funny moment in this movie:

4'-6" Kravitz Catwoman (body of ten year old boy) vertically pulls dangling 6'-4" Pattinson in full body armored batsuit up to the platform at the end. Right after faux-riddler guy is wailing on Batman and I'm sitting there thinking "Catwoman to the rescue in five, four, three...." :lol

Ohhhhhhh

My bad

And yes I am lol

Yeah, but every movie (comic movie) does that.

I wish they did address the cape thing with someone grabbing it and pulling him back... and Batman has a cool move for it, like he knows that's going to be grabbed. It's like the old (dumb) excuse in Batman '89 that the reason black-clad Batman wears a bright yellow Bat symbol on his chest is as a target. WHAT!? Why wear a target?

BvS warehouse fight his cape gets pulled back lol

I mean it fits. Who do you think would be more of a weirdo nerd? A guy who is obsessed with riddles and dresses in gimp costumes or a guy who owns a corporation and constantly wants to throw hands with a alien that can destroy a planet 😂

Actually that seems to be the thing in Batman lore in general.
In the games they mention it to.
He wears the bright symbol so bad guys shoot him in his armor instead of his face. Idk.
I always loved the yellow emblem .

What does he do?

Is he totally shocked? Like he never considered that before?
What happens is one guy kicks a kneeling batman in his right shoulder making batman go backwards towards a guy behind him who then pulls on his cape making batman land on his back and batman pays the price for it by getting stabbed in the shoulder!

Wouldn't it be better to NOT have a target at all?
He did over do it you’re right..
